grrr, sound not working. help :(

yesterday my sound just stopped working. I didn't install or uninstall anything new that I can think of. does anyone know what the problem might be? please help:(

sometimes my wire gets pulled out when i pull out the keyboard too far. it could be something as simple as that. or it could be the speakers just died.

yeah, I accidently yanked the cord out of the old speakers (oops). I reinstalled the sound driver and messed with the cord and plug and now they work. whoopie:D . thanks
