Ok... I know I'd be better off asking this in a Tech forum, but if I knew one to begin with, I'd probably have an answer by now.

So let me throw this out there:

I'm trying to run a Windows IIS server (XP Pro) so that I can play with HTML, etc etc...

But, when I have the server running, I try to access the site, and it gives me the logon window, expecting me to give it a user and password. How do I get rid of that?

Maybe someone will know:indif:...

you have to make it public and you'll have to make an "index.html" page;)

ergh... Done... But I still get a 403 Forbidden error...

-Edit-

Wait, nevermind. It my struggle to get it to work, I pointed it at a bad default document. So I pointed it at the right one, now it works, yay.
