View Full Version : gettinf that conveyor to move you normally

Ive made a conveyor

it has a trigger push
with the conveyor, Relative and Linear boxes checked
and a speed of 10

also it points to a target position.....

Ive tried making the brush fill a space and also tried it flat

Now when all the above is checked you move ok but it zooms you along at warp speed...

so i unckecked the linear one and you shake a bit but dont move...and if you do move you move very slowly like your in water....

What do i need to set so you move along it at a nice pace..

Oh and yes ive tried ticking the multiple thing to

Here are my settings, they match the cairn conveyor "c_conbeltmov" shader almost perfectly:

check relative
check conveyor
speed 82

Another suggestion is to use 3 individual trigger_push entities, put one on the right, left and center with their own targets. It's because the player seems to be pushed always to the center which is unrealistic with a conveyor belt. With 3 different pushes it makes it more balanced. Hope this helps! :fett:
