Why has Mojo been down all week? It seems like it's very hush hush since not many has mentioned it in the forums. I miss my Mojo :(

Not down for a year again, are you?

06-06-2003, 03:20 PM
Erm...ask again in a week.

06-06-2003, 03:22 PM
Heh, that bad is it?

We want Mojo. We want Mojo!

I asked someone who knows, and they said they were reinstalling their OS on their server from when it got hacked, and that has caused a couple of other sites to go down too like worldofmi and the scummbar.

(btw, I don't know if that was exactly what he said - I may have made a few mistakes).

Ok, thanks for the info! Btw, when was Mojo hacked? Can't remember reading about that. Must have slipped my mind...

06-07-2003, 09:09 AM
Ahh well. At least this is up so I can complain about it.

Its not just that, theres a whole big long story which I am far too lazy to type out. Give it a week and then we'll know for sure what the state of play is.

Aye, it seems a little hard to know what's going on or what's going to happen at the moment.

I dunno if Mojo itself was hacked, but I do remember something about the YaBB forums and root directories. Dunno if that has anything to do with it. I just hope Mojo comes back soon :~

I don't only miss Mojo, I miss all teh sites that wen't down with it. Poor poor sites,:(

06-07-2003, 07:39 PM
Ahh well. As far as I can tell there's not an awful lot of news to post anyway.

But then, without Mojo, how would I know?

06-08-2003, 02:46 PM
True, without mojo and all affiliated sites, the forums are my only source of news (and that normally comes from people who've read it on Mojo!) :(

06-08-2003, 02:48 PM
I thought the hack thing was *hush* *hush. :)

I miss all of the sites deffintley swgalaxies.net :(

Oh thats cute, real cute. It think its the lamest excuse for buying time for the E3 updates, or are they done with them? Ah who cares, I'm still pissed, why I dont know, probably because Sam & Man only have 3 fingers.

Your cyncism is commendable as is your love of RCR, they are indeed excellent.

OK since you seem to doubt that our E3 coverage exists, I'll spill the beans. I don't really remember the details of the interview we did with Simon Jeffery, but I can make up some answers:

Mojo: What about Monkey Island 5?
Simon: Don't tell anyone, but it's going to come out in October. We have a surprise magazine cover rollout next month, but DONT LET ANYONE KNOW. Shhh!

Mojo: What do you think of our readers?
Simon: I didn't know anyone read your site.

We then pummeled Simon to death with his bottle of water and Ronda's coffee mug.

And, Armed & Dangerous is amazingly cool. And Tim Schafer highly recommends it, calling it "F***ing awesome." Didn't make that part up.

So, there you go. A preview of our E3 coverage.

Ah, you have restored my faith in Mojo's coverage of E3. I shall mark the month of october in my calander as being somewhat almost, maybe, just about important because of some reason. :D
