Is it posible to take a .BSP decompile it to a .MAP????

Did you lose your map file or something? Or just trying to open someone else's bsp file?

If you still have your backup file .bak just rename it with a .map extension.

nope don't have the .bak file

See what happened was me and my bro were testing the map so he had the .pk3 file and my computer died on me losing everything on my hard drive so i lost all those files!!

so the only file i have is the .bsp from the .pk3

a reverse compiler does exhist. you'll have to google for it.

I do know that you can open bsp files with the QuarK editor; google for that too.

however, in either instance the textures and i think entities as well will not be restored, just the brushes with no textures.
