.com or geocities, YOU decide!

Alright, there has been much talk about which site we should use but no one has started a poll! So here you go! Vote in the poll and lets get it over with...BTW, this is about the use of the .com or geocities site.

I say .com

I really like it, but I don't know how expensive it is.

One prob with the geocities is how only the middle page is the browser.

They made the site that way...for the center to be the browser.

Anyway, Geocities is not all that bad, but I like www.tripod.com better.

More space, ect, ect, ect.

Well the .com sounds great but it would involve someone paying for the website name and possibly renting space from a server if no one has a perm connecting pc that we could use.

I like geocities alot, I just with that the browser was the whole page, not just the center.

Well, here's what I think. The website is the same on both sites at this point, correct? Which one is faster? Which has fewer ads? Which has more space? Which is cheaper ;)? If we have no problem paying for the .com, I think it's the obvious choice. No offense to the people who made the Geocities site, but come on :)! We have a .com just sitting there, not being used; I think we should put it to some good use.

.com one loaded way faster than the geocities one for me. Really, I like 'em both, but the geocities one took a while to load for me. I'm on a 56k till september.

Also, if we kept the .com one how much would it cost? I like the geocities one 'cause i'm on the member list!

look.. i made the geocities one first,.... then we got a .com one.... via Murashu.. he knows how to wqork that ojne.. but lets just say i alway like having a hand in things like that. Im working out a plan to not dissapoint anyone.... well maybe except me :( :p ;)

I understand Wraith, and i know i'd want to be involved with it if i were you too. Why don't you both share admin levels on the .com site and work towards making it the official and only =A= site. That way you both have control and you get to share good ideas. If its to be the offical one, u being the co-leader etc will mean u probably get final say anyway.

I've been going to the .com site recently...I really like it - a lot. So I think those of us who have free time should help out getting content from the old site to the .com site because it looks very professional, we are a serious PA so we should have a serious looking website which the .com outweighs the geo by far.
