Question about your party.

We all know that you can have up to 9 NPCs in your party. And I forgot, but you can have like 2 or 3 of them with you at a time while the rest are on the ship.

Well I am one of those people who will play through the game twice, first on the lightside and then on the darkside.

Well when I play as my LS character, I will use people like that girl Jedi that is on the front cover and that black Jedi dude with the blue saber, and that Han Solo type dude with the blasters. People like that. But when I play on the DS, I want to use different characters like that Juhani character....you know, people that are somewhat dark.

So my question is and most of you probably won't know cause we haven't played the game yet. But do you think that we can beat the whole game with just 2-3 NPCs and not having to use all of them? Or do we have to use every single NPC at one point in the game or so to beat it? Because when I play on the LS I don't wan Juhani out there with me, I want pure good people. When I play on the DS, I want people like Juhani out there, not people like Mission Vao.

What do you think?

I mean, if I wanted to beat the game with just 2 or 3 characters and NEVER use the others, is that possible?

You can have 2 NPC's with you at a time. I think you could beat the game using only 2 or 3 of them through out the game, but it would be a lot harder. The different characters have different abilities and skills that would be very useful throughout the game.

Example: You, Carth and Bastila are trying to sneak into a base, but need to get past the security. That would be a perfect time to use your maintenance droid, etc.

You need to use brute force: Use Canderous and Big Z. :D

I think you see the point by now...(those were just random examples. Don't take them as facts or anything) :)

It might be a possibility, but I wouldn't want to spend too much time on a character... you know, the possibility that a scripted death might show up :eek:

Me, I'm not really planning on letting my alignment dictate which NPCs I'm going to take with me or not. I want to try and give everyone a fair chance, and who knows... maybe I can even convince some of them that they should join my side. Furthermore, I simply want to give each character a moment in the spotlight... it'd be kinda silly if they stayed holed up in the Ebon Hawk throughout the game.

no matter wut side u end up being u will always start off the game with carth on ur joruney to find and rescue bastilla. after that i dont belive the rest of us no. the devs will no but probley not say.

You don't want to send Burrie into early hermitage. ;)

I do agree with Burrie though. I will use every NPC, but won't use some as much as the others every time.
