Though we only have 1 commando according to the roster (Setsuko) it might be an idea as more people either join wanting to be commandos or current members change, for a Special Forces section to exist.

What do you think?

P.S When it is eventually released in Europe I'm changing to become a commando

Besides the name why do you want people to change to commando to be in special forces. I mean commando's can use heavy weapons and grenades but a specialist in a weapon like, me in pistol, will be just as deadly and I can still be part of special forces and not be a commando.

Also isa nyone going for squad leader?

I was thinking about squadleader but I am mastering medic, combat medic and doctor. I just dont have any skill points left over.

Well for a special forces group you'll need lots of stuff, Melees, Long range, explosive, combat meds, and fighters in general. It has to work like a swat team. We'd be the ones who would go out first for a battle with another PA, or defend someone in PA from a mob of critters.

The thing with commandos is that they encompass the abilities of the other shooting professions , but all in one. They are designed to be effective in small groups, possible with a medic and prehaps a couple of specialists but mainly all commandos. Commandos work best in groups of commandos lead by a squad leader idealy. Their certifications are for shock weapons that cause the maximum damage in the smallest time (I.e rapid assaults that save Master Tera Kasi Artists are very deadly and not comparable to the others who use weapons designed for longer range and longer fights)

True commando's are great but what you are saying about them being shock troops is not true, yeah they probably do the most damage because their weapons are the most powerful but they are the slowest as well. Their weapons average speed is quite slow and yeah they may do 500 damage a hit but my pistoleer can shot 5 shots for their every one and do 150 plus damage each time.

This is a silly argument yeah I agree we need more than one commando in our special forces but hey we still need a guild hall and also need to organize our troops and figure out who is what and where they stand I mean Murashu is our comabt leader but from there no clue

I agree with the slow fire rate, but commandos work well in concert with regular troops.

A) They can use most of the weapons the regulars

B) Their weapons are designed to inflict huge damage, so whilst the regulars keep the enemy busy the commandos strike from another direction and cause severe damage that the regulars could have done but would need a while to do it.( This applies mainly to the riflemen and carbineers, but Tera Kasi and Pistoliers would also be very effective at the range the commandos would attack at.)

So prehaps an entire;y commando special forces is a bad idea. A mix of commandos,Tera Kasi , close combat geezers and Pistoliers would be a very effective special forces though ?

But we're still not getting what your trying to prove, we've already said that you can't JUST have commandos. If you want to have your own little group then knock yourself out but for the special forces run by Marushu is for any specialist or warrior who wants to join.

Obviously I'm alone in actualy knowing anything about a little thing called tactics. Yeah your tactic is to attack it untill it dies which is fine til faced with equal or superior numbers, "our" combat group is laughable, no organisation and far too many players like yourself who think that they are clearly god almighty himself. Infact this is the predominant factor over the entire associates, apsolutely minimal structure and organisation and too many people with huge egos.

I've said it before and I;ll say it again , we won't last a year at this rate before we either pack up and split or just cease to be.
