Maniac Mansion demo

On the subject of demos of scumm games...

Does anyone have or can get hold of the maniac mansion demo?

I know it exists, and apparently came with some version of zak

Any additional information like whether it uses graphics of the enhanced version would be nice as well.

I've only heard of one version of the Maniac Mansion demo, and it doesn't seem to use the enhanced version's graphics.

To run it, you'll need a copy of Maniac Mansion unenhanced version. The one in Day of the Tentacle will do fine - just rename Maniac.ovl to Maniac.exe.

Then bring up a DOS box. Go to the directory where the Maniac Mansion files are stored. Type "maniac d" and the demo should start.
