You haven't played with toys till you've played with G.I.Joes.

I still have about twenty. And I could sell them all for over a hundred dollers (all together.) But I'm never going to sell them. They're priceless.

The only problem is my little brother keeps taking them out to play with them and doesn't put them back, bit by bit they're getting lost, it makes me mad when he looses them or breaks them. I'll have to hide them.

I could probably rent them out to little kids for $5.00 an hour. And if they break them they'll have to pay me like $50.00. The breakage I'm not looking forward too. mabee I'll only rent out the ones that arn't as cool.

When I break one I like I just take apart an ugly one and repare my cool one.

But I haven't played with them for a few years. Not since I was 14.

action figures were the best.

i had a whole bunch of batman, ninja turtle, and x-men toys.

(good times, good times)

I remember the G. I. Joes around where the torso meets the waist and were held together by a black elastic band, and I used to twist them them up real tight and then let them fly. LOL them were the days.

That is why I dont have anymore of my G. I. Joes however, there are two that I would NEVER treat harshly and I still have them on my shelf today. I forgot their names but one of them is an orange and blue ninja with a fairly large sheild of the same color, and then a dark red ninja with tiny black dots, he has swords and his arm is spring loaded and would chop, his headband was also fabric and would hang down.

Say, is there a website dedicated to collecting G. I. Joes? I would like to see all teh old school toys, thad bring back so many memories :)

I also used to have G. I. Joe vs Star Wars (3 1/4 in figs) vs Ninja Turtle wars with my friends. We had rules written out and everything.

I like K'nex and still building with them. But there is another toy that I have and it is called Rokenbok. It combines video games with building. You have these vehicles that you drive around up ramps and across bridges. It has been a while since I played with it because it takes a little too long to set up.http://www.rokenbok.com/images/thumb_forklift.jpg One of the vehicles out of 10 I think.

Transformers being omitted from teh poll is an atrocity on par with those of Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.

LEGO was cool :D

lego! Definitly LEGO.

I still build lego. last year i got robotics invention system 2.0 and the 4x4 offroader ..

lego RULZ forever!!

ps. i started playin lego with that VERY old kit from the 60's or what?? It's amazing to see how it developes ..

See as my Legotime was, i just thought "crap. someone must create such or such a piece or brick" .. now, that i got the RIS, i knew .. someone did in the past years .. !!!

plus .. my daughter is 3.5 months and already got lego.. they have lego for VEEEERY young ones now. (from 0 month on) She got that little bee, it rattles and is sooo cute!! BTW, she 'talks' it to death and tries to eat it all the time....

My vote: LEGO!

Yeah, I had tons of GI Joe and StarWars figuares. They all played together in the same battles. I loved legos and would build all kinds of cool ships, planes, craft, or just whatever. The last toy that I got into was the ninja turtles. I had a bunch of them that I played with too. Ahhh, those were the days.

07-14-2003, 01:40 PM

YEp, can't forget Legos, I have 3-4 boxes of them. I don't play with them anymore, though. Except when I get a new set.

07-14-2003, 07:03 PM
Lego is the best toy ever invented. I remember spending hours and hours playing with it. I also loved playing with my Star Wars toys. Endless fun. I still have some SW figures dated 1977 - 1984 (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=97935).

My vote goes to Lego.

LEGO was founded by a fellow Danishman. He was also a Christian. (His name was Christian also I believe) :D

Oh! You savage! Those poor G.I.Joes. No wonder there's none around anymore.

I'dd count them but their in my brother's room and he's sleeping.
I really feel like gearing them all up and battling all over my house until every last one of them dies a tragic slow death......mabee tomorow.
