View Full Version : Bathe in my stupidity...

I bought the Prima Guide(for that weapons and items).

I used the table of contents to go directly to the page I needed, looked through everything then put it down. Then I picked it up again but this time I read backwords from the page I ended on when I put it down the first time.

I went one page to far back but didn't realize it till I read the caption on a picture. This one caption on this one picture(that I won't mention because it's THE ultimate spoiler) let out the final secret. I didn't even read through any paragraphs or anything close but I happened to glance at a picture and was stupid enough to read the caption. KEep in mind if I had just seen the picture I'd have been fine but...

The thing I'm happy about is I really don't seem to care that I know this final secret(which I won't reveal). I will say that Bioware are geniuses and it's great.

Stupid Prima Games and their dumb captions. :D

We still love you, Hannibal. :D

That gives me hope I can at least buy the guide today.

I am sorry it happened to you though, but I'm glad you came and told us about it so I can watch out for it now. ;)

I also like hearing that the ending is great. :)

*Bathes in the near angelic glow of stupidity emanating from Hannibal*

Ouch. What rotten luck. (BTW, thanks for not posting whatever it is smack-dab in the middle of your description of the where the pic was.)

Kind of like, "For those who have not seen 'insert movie here', insert main character of said movie here dies, so read no further."

However, I am glad to know that this game will actually have a plot twist. (What was the last SW game that had a believable plot twist?)

X-Wing Alliance to be sure :)

Oh well, at least you now know that the story is top-notch :)

The worst thing to me is that is was only 7 words that I read and BAMM!!! secret revealed. I immediately closed the book and put it away after that.

This was going to be my first spoiler free event(game or movie).
I usually have already read what's going to happen.
At least I don't know the other plot twists.

Silly Hannibal...

I myself am wondering if I should get the guide. If I do, I'll doubtless read through it...many many times before November and the PC release...but I won't be bored for a while...hmm...

*clears throat*

I'm not reading anything to do with the game for the next month, and I'm gonna avoid the xbox forum like the plague. I certainly don't want to know the ending before I even start playing the game. Sorry Hannibal, that's gotta hurt. =(

My problem is that I might not mind reading the final plot twist, only if my life depended on it mainly, but when I spoil the last plot twist, my brain being the way it is, comes up with many different possibilities of how the story came to that point, so by the time I get there, I may have already created 5 or 6 different hypotheses about how they got to that point, and one of them may have been right, which isn't all that bad I guess, but I would rather go OMG NO WAY!! then Ohh, so I was partically right...

Always thinking I am, ruins games my brain does :yoda:
