How did this get barfed up 3 times?

07-19-2003, 12:33 AM
I think it was because the forums can be slow, and it's a habit to click the post button several times to "speed" things up. :D

07-19-2003, 12:59 AM
Never get tired of Dumb and Dumber. Pure comedy movie. What About Bob? is funny. Bill at his best.

07-19-2003, 01:02 AM
Dumb and Dumber, well it gets dumb and dumber... in a good way ;) . I've been waiting to rent What about Bob, but I haven't got around to doing it.

07-19-2003, 01:22 AM
The topic starter's post is gone, though, and an identical thing happened in the Adventure Gamers temp forum.

Dumb and Dumber is the funniest movie ever. Once.

07-19-2003, 01:27 AM
I really like Liar Liar which Jim Carrey is in :D
Another film i like which me and lot of friends i know like is the british film Snatch, i think it's hilarous a must watch if you ever come across it :)

07-19-2003, 01:57 AM
I didn't really care for Dumb and Dumberer. I guess that's a good thing hehe :)

07-19-2003, 02:04 AM
Man, you guys gotta watch Jay and Silent Bob. Lots of swears, AND really hot lesbians. :D

I like Dumb and DUmber thoguh, too.

Mock! Yeh! Ing! Yeh! Bird! Yeh! :p

07-19-2003, 02:35 AM
Yeah, I liked Kevin Smith. Then I turned 15.

As you may be able to guess from my apparently being a complete ******* most of the time, I'm only really into intelligent satire as comedies go, with the occasional Tommy Boy working its way in.

My favorite ever is Office Space, followed closely by any Christopher Guest movie.

07-19-2003, 02:35 AM
To the two posts above mefatcat, lol hehe. :D

You guys crack me up sometimes.

07-19-2003, 04:51 AM
Man, you guys gotta watch Jay and Silent Bob. Lots of swears, AND really hot lesbians.

It's a pretty good movie though I don't recal any lesbians in it....

07-19-2003, 04:58 AM
dumb and dumber is erally good, along with captian ron, and sgt. bilko. yea, i liked Kevin Smith, then i turned twenty, and i still like him, heh. along with snatch, lock stock adn two smoking barrels is a very funny picture!

07-19-2003, 04:59 AM
they hinted that 2 of the girls were, but that was it.

07-19-2003, 07:18 AM
1)Jackass:The Movie
3)Christmas Vacation

The 2nd and 3rd are classics. Deffinatly Chevy Chase at his best;)

In fletch, he winds up at a docters office for a prostate exam, and this is what ensues...
"Doc:Ok, here we go.
Doc there we go.
chase:few, spent time in prison, jellyfinger?"

If you havn't seen this movie, and like laughing constantly at one-liners, then go rent this movie. You won't regret it;)

07-19-2003, 07:56 AM

1) Scary Movie - OK I think I just like this kind of movies :)
2) Liar Liar - Jim Carrey's best one, although Bruce Almighty and Me, Myself & Irene are pretty close :)
3) A lot of movies, including Dumb & Dumber, Naked Gun, Hot Shots!, and a lot of other movies :P

07-19-2003, 08:00 AM
I only have two favorite comedy movies :
1/ Bruce Almighty
2/Scary Movie

Those two were absolotely hilarious.

The lesbians were everyone of the girls. The hot girls are:

Sissy, Missy, and Chrissy. They were good looking.

The blonde was whipped cream girl in Varsity Blues and 20 year old killed my 70 year old hung husband in Legally Blonde.

The brunette was the girl from Buffy - the other Vampire Slayer who turned all evil. She was also in one of those Cheerleader movies I think and I know she was in The New Guy.

The other brunette was Kevin Smith's wife. While she is good looking you can also tell she is older so it isn't too difficult to distinguish.

And the girl from American Pie and AP 2, Czech hot woman, was the not so blonde but still blonde girl. She was a lesbian in a way because she was part of the group of lesbians.

Lesbian references are when they stop at the convenient store to buy some food. The Blonde and Smith's Wife have a deleted scene where they talk about some lesbian acts. They still mention something in the movie but it isn't as profoud as I think one girl jumping on the other.

Brunette girl talks makes fun of AP2 girl for not wanting to be a good little lesbian.

Also when the pizza man comes Brunette girl takes the pizza man and the other two women are left to themselves while AP2 girl is left being straight downstairs.

I spent like 7 hours watching all the deleted scenes and their explinations. Really funny stuff especially some stuff that GLAD said concerning the movie. GLAD is Gas and Lesbians Against something that starts with a D if I remember. DEf something I imagine.

Good movie but not so funny someone pees their pants or can't breathe.

Movies that had my crying with laughter in the cinema:

South Park BL&U: Shut your ******* face etc
Happy Gilmore: Every time he 'loses it' and gets angry
Guest House Paradiso: The kitchen fight-scene

There are others that I love, but those are ones that made me cry! :p

07-19-2003, 01:50 PM
Well, agree with B. on South Park, but no-one's mentioned the ultimate:
Pure genius! :D

07-19-2003, 01:56 PM
they only hinted they may be lesbians... they didnt say they were... how about the part at the end when the chick form buffy banged the pizza guy? so now is she bi? she obviously wasnt a lesbian

The Big Lebowski is clearly the correct answer.

the life of brian

great movie!!!!!!!

07-20-2003, 05:36 AM
Oh yeah, Monty Python rocks too!!

And Spaceballs?? Man that movie sucks!! It's just really NOT FUNNY!!

07-20-2003, 06:08 AM
You didn't think that Space Balls was even the tiniest bit funny? The whole "Your Schwartz is as big as mine" or the mini Vader, or the whole merchandice of Yogurt things. Funniest by far was the alien poping out of the guy and doing the frog dance.

Life of Brian: None of you have any balls! That was actually my least favorite Monty Python movies. Mr. Carusseau (sp) is hillarious though. Where do they come up with that stuff?

07-20-2003, 06:27 AM
The quest of the holy grail is great too, from Monty Python :) I want you to get my shrubbery!!

07-20-2003, 06:47 AM
Ace Ventura Pet Detective 2 was great!

07-20-2003, 06:58 AM
God I forgot Quest for the Holy Grail and Spaceballs. What others am I forgetting?!?

MONTY PYTHON: The Meaning of Life (Hillarious)

The film starts off really weirdly, with a bunch of old guys working in an office building on typewriters. One of them gets fired and somehow all the others revolt and take over hte building with swords and stuff. THen they pull up an anchor and sail to an american skyscraper thing, and burst through the glass windows and take over.

Then it gets on with the film. Which doesn't have a storyline, it's a series of long sketches about the meaning of life. It's really funny,

Especially near the end with Death. In a cottage in the middle of the country, people are having a meal and Death comes. And they find out they're all dead. Someone asks how they all died at the same time, and Death extends his hand. He slowly turns with his finger pointing at everyone in turn, but he quickly swoops it round and points to the salmon paste, and all the people act really shocked and frightened.

It is a great film, but as for the best comedy.... I don't think there is one. Depends on what style of comedy you like, there is stuff like Airplane :D, There is the Monty Python stuff :D, Things like Bruce Almighty :D, and lots of other types of comedy.

I don't know what the best it though, so I wasted alot of my time writing.... At least it was on the topic.
