Ok, so Im on Altho (I think thats how you spell it) Anyway, what is up with the murder in the hotel? I can't seem to find anyone involved. I've tried going to the jail cell, but I can't go in because Im not cleared by the government. I've solved the missing youth and the star map / research station missions, but this murder case is driving me nuts. Let me know if there is something else I need to know about Altho as well... anything.

If you go talk to the people on teh otherside of the jail, you become and arbiter, then you can into the jail and the hotel, also, go hack the rebels computer(use the droid) that you use to make the ID card.......if has a video that helps

if you want more hints, tell me and I'll spill the rest of it

Is it possible to win this case?

I did the above (before reading the spoilers) then ended up loosing the case.
I never found any evidence in support of the client other than the Rodian that planted the medal.

So has anybody won this case?

Here are the steps if you want to convince the judges he is innocent for the most xp points. Persuading everybody in the hotel to testify that Sunry is innocent is necessary. You don't need that data recording but do it for 300xp anyway

First up will be Ignus. If you persuaded him, he will confess that he heard the shot after Sunry left, to your favor. Next will be Firith Me. During your cross-examination of Firith, ask if she is indeed a Dark Jedi. Now ask if he actually saw the murder take place. Now choose no more questions

After Firith will come Gluupor. During your cross-examination, ask if he planted the medal. Now ask if he saw the murder happen. Then choose no more questions

Now Elora will come out. During your cross-examination, ask her about Sunry's affair. Then have no more questions. Finally, Sunry comes out. When you have a chance, ask Sunry simply if he went there to end the affair, would the sith object? Now choose no more questions

It's time for your closing argument. Choose first "No one actually witnessed the murder." Next choose "Sunry went to end the affair so the sith killed her." Then close your case

Give credit to Gamebanshee for that spoiler part

But, if you do all that:You're letting a guilty man go free. Start the trial by telling the judges that you have a recording that shows your client did it. Then, you will probably still win the case (I did), but you have a clear conscince. That's what I would do.

Ya, but I did it for 500xp, more than the other 2 solutions and no light or darkside shifts

Yeah, but why play it with an eye toward how many XP you can
get? Play it as your character would. Which means, if you're Light
Side, not letting a guilty man go free. I have
gone through the game 3 times, now, without worrying about
which course of action is going to get me the most XP. And,
beileve me, I always end up with more than enough to hit the
Level Cap.
