Hey all

Kind of an off-topic, but I have to make a version of my level/mod with music that is royalty-free and uncopyrighted. Just wondering if anyone knows some good resources for appropriate tracks.

The level takes place in ancient Rome and has tracks from the "Gladiator" soundtrack and also bits and pieces from the main theme of "Ronin". Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions for royalty-free music that sort of fits this genre, feel free to post back links or resources.

Here are a couple of links I spotted off of Google.

Also, here's something that might sound good with it.

Trouble with royalty free sites is they seem to charge upfront for you to get your hands on the music/sound effecgts, which are then royalty free to use. What you could do is create a song on your own using only some kind of low grade music software and your voice...StrongBad style...

That's why they provide samples for download.
