Says that we should look towards November and that nothing new is added as of this time.

Does it say "nothing is added", or "nothing is announced" ?
That's a HUGE difference :)

Sounds like time to get back into the bunker with Halo for a few months.
This is pretty much what I had expected to happen. Thank goodness I got a long enough subscription with galaxies. ;P

Well, good for you, Mr-can-afford-to-pay-$15-a-month-to-play-a-game.
I'm getting JA whenever it comes out, so I'll be OK...whenever that happens.
08-14-2003, 04:55 AM
I'm just waiting for SWG to get some more content, and also for FFXI, I'll probably play them both, one on PC, the other on PS2. :D
08-14-2003, 10:25 AM
JA will be out on september 17th :)
08-14-2003, 11:45 AM
Thats good to know that JA is coming out first, at least i won't be bored senseless untill KOTOR is released :)
BTW has anyone got the exact date for KOTOR's release ? :)
08-14-2003, 03:08 PM
As far as i know november IS the most exact date.
Here (http://swforums.bioware.com/viewtopic.html?topic=251569&forum=27&sp=15) guys, some new info
For those lazy to click the link:
There will most likely be console commands for such things in KotOR PC. Sorry that I don't have any more details at this time.
Someone mentions that it was included in the BG series and NWN as well. Any idea how it works?
08-15-2003, 04:19 PM
Actually, it works the same as in any shoter...
You hit the "console"-key (`in european NWN, but it is different in US), and then you enter your command, for example in NWN:
fps: shows frames for a short while
trace fps: shows them during the whole playing session
Hope that helps
Well, it's very heartening to hear there will be console commands.
As Com said, fps is a common command, and it's pretty helpful to figure out how good the game is running. I like to get aroun 80-90fps, but that's just me...
This usually means cheats, but as it was said in the link, the console does a lot more than just cheats.
08-16-2003, 04:00 AM
In NWN you bring up the console and then if you pressed tab loads & loads of commands will scroll down in a list, as Bioware made both KOTOR & NWN im guessing the cheats system will work like that with the player entering commands like "god" and other things to access the desired cheat they want.

Oh well, gotta wait. I'll get JA first, though.
Will this game be available for CDs, too? They seem to be sying a lot about DVDs.
08-21-2003, 09:54 AM
There will be CDs, most likely 4 of 'em from what I heard so far...
08-21-2003, 11:17 AM
It looks like they've been making a point to mention they're considering a DVD release..

I just took a look on a Dutch gamestore (PC only) site, they expect to have it in store on 3 november. If you understand it here's (http://www.dynabyte.nl/shop_artikel.asp?Nr=611113&RegelNr=1118207&Zoeken=&Aanbieding=&Top20=&HomeAanbieding=) the link
