I went out and saw it a couple times. One night it was the only thing in the sky besides the moon.

I take it you never got out side to see it?:(

in the news last night they said in califoria was a biiiiig thunderstorm at work with thousands of flashs for hours ..

oh and the mars is really nice .. although i am a bit disappointed because the marsface wasnt a face .. :)

Mars must be the ultimate ski resort! Mount Olympus is the highest in the galaxy and all that frozen CO2 will make a spectacular smokey trail as u slide down!

I got to see it yesterday. Before zI left for school. It was like | | big in the distance. And the brightest star up. All the other days it was too cloudy... stupid Floridian weather.

I have been watching Mars for a week now, and I must say it is one of the most beautiful sights the night sky has ever offered for the naked eye. It's radiance is quite impressive, and the red hue is undeniable.

Of course this is coming from a astronomy buff/Hopless Romantic...
