command center droids question (possible spoiler)

my first post here...

when fighting the droids in the command center, i was able to shut down the "type f" generator before i started to kill droids, but i cant target any other type of generator to shut them down. so im either stuck battling droids forever or i'm doing something wrong.

and its not like i dont have any spikes or anything...my computer skill is 24 and i have 65 spikes

Ignore the droids and shut down the six computers I think. IGNORE THE DROIDS. I started attacking them and had to start the whole fight over again.
