Alright, now the summer period is over for everyone, what film did you enjoy seeing the most over your holiday / school break? Did you think the ground was a little thin for originality? Do you love sequels?

What was your favourite movie of the past several months?

I've voted for 'Pirates of the Caribbean - The Curse of the Black Pearl' because it is a perfect film. It beats almost all films released over the past year (including Bond, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Matrix and Star Trek), and in my opinion has an amazing balance between comedy, action and romance.

Do you agree?

You didn't include LOTR: TTT on your poll.

Too bad TTT is the only I've been able to see, I really wanted to PotC also.

SAm, LOTR: TTT was technically a Summer blockbuster from where I am, being in December 2002 and all.....

Unless you consider the DVD release in line with those released at the cinema!!

I have a thing for French women so I have to go with Matrix 2 even though I loved both T3 (Kristanna Loken= Best Actress Oscar win!!!) and Pirates.

Matrix Reloaded was OK, Pirates was excellent but T3 rocked!

LOTR: WTF? It was like a winter 2002 release?!

Guess I am the only one that voted for "X-2". I was just really blown away the most by that movie. Nothing else was better than that in my opinion.

X2 and T3 were both great movies this summer. Matrix Reloaded was ok, the fight scenes was cool. I havent Sceen PotC, so I dont know how good it was. I liked Bruce Almighty, it was pretty funny. The Hulk wasnt that good, but over all X2 and T3 rocked.

This year sucked for films... :(

X-2 gets my vote, but in a decent year it wouldn't have been the best. T3 was pretty fun and gets second. Freddy vs Jason probably gets my vote for 3rd, just for being completely old school horror and good fun. THen hulk and PotC, which were both ok.

Still, with RotK and Kill Bill 1&2 coming up in might not be a total write off...

I liked Matrix Reloaded, although a little less than I thought...

I liked XMen2 as much as I thought I would...
