I dont feel like clicking on the link, but im guessing its the Clone Wars cartoon. Am I right?

Edit: Doh, the link says "clone wars cartoon". I clicked on it, the picture of anakin doesnt look very good in my opinion. I think they should have gone for a more realistic style of animation. And if they are only 2 minutes long, why didnt just use CGI?

I don't have a TV, so I don't care. :|

Hmmmmm, I only hope that it won't be like the Droids cartoon series. Those cartoons can't even be seriously considered to be a part of Star Wars due to continuity problems galore.

Actually, when they came out they were pretty much the EU. At the time, since they didn't conflict with Ewoks, they fit right in.

I downloaded some of those episodes a while ago to see if they were as I remember them as a kid. They are a damn sight better than the NJO. :)

2 minute episodes? That's so ridiculous it's not even funny. Why bother at all?

I actually had no knowledge of this either. Thanks for showing me that, DarkJediKnight.
I might even turn on my tv for the first time in a few months to watch the 2 minute bursts of stuff when they come on.

I apologise again DarkJediKnight, I didn't mean to offend you :(
Like I said, it is pretty common knowledge, and I know that I for one shouldn't assume that everyone who visits this site is as big a fan as myself.
As it happens, your post co-incides with this story over at TFN >> http://www.theforce.net/episode2/index.shtml#21988 << which features a SMALL teaser clip for the series. So perhaps your timing isn't so off after all ;)

Peace out,
B.

i might get them when they come out on DVD, if they do.
overall they will be an hour long, but 2-3 minutes per episode is pretty pointless.

Because CGI is bland and soulless. Conventional animation is, and will always be superior.

Until recently I'd have a greed wholeheartedly there, but a combination of Final Flight of the Osiris, and the Clone Commander trailer are changing my mind...
Still, I think Clone Wars will be fantastic :D (mind you, I liked Droids :p )

Mmm, Final Flight of the Osiris was decidedly yummy. It actually seemed better than some of the CG moments in Reloaded (like the guy in the Mech thing at Zion) which was somewhat disappointing. :(

I for one am looking forward to it. Genndy Tartakovsky is one of my favourite animators. I simply love Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack. However, 2 minutes per episode is ridiculous. Like Sivy, I'm gonna wait for the DVD.

will they add up to one long episode or will it just be little adventure for each 2 minute episode?

also, once they are all shown cartoon network will probably show all of them one after another
