actually the original show had puppets. they also sold toys, I had several Thunderbird crafts. (shows how old I really am:) ) anyhow if you are refering to the new upcoming movie, unless I am mistaken it is going to be live action with real actors. I will have to go and click the link to see what is what, I think for myself personally and nostalgically I would not mind seeing CG charaters like in The Flight Of The Osiris or Final Fantasy movie.

anyhoo from what I remember I liked the Thunderbirds
I think it was a UK import.

I loved Thunderbirds as a kid growing up. It was one of my favourites programs. Now they are going to go and spoil it. Geez, why can't these people come up with some new ideas instead of always coming back to the old classics? It will have a deleterious effect on Thunderbirds imo.

I remember that show, but just barely. It was trippy.
I remember having a super-high fever and being in the hospital when I was a kid, and already hallucinating, with Thunderbirds being in the TV.
Very surreal moment in my life.

Now,.. when are they going to make "Speed Racer: The Motion Picture"?!?

Mariiiiiiiiiinaaaaaa, Aqua Mariiiiiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaa,
What are these strange enchantments that start whenever you’re near?

Mariiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaa, Aqua Mariiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaa,
Why can’t you whisper the words my heart is longing to hear?
Your magic to me, a beautiful mystery.
I’m certain to fall I know, because you enthrall me so.

Mariiiiiinaaaaaaa, Aqua Mariiiiinaaaaaa,
Why don’t you say that you’ll always stay close to my heart.

Yes I know it's sad I remember the words, but hey, I love Stingray. :D

Anyone else notice how that end song had nothing at all to do with the program? Apart from the mute fish lady.

Weird program.
