I have just started a new map, and it I have compiled it a few times when I wanted to test it, and that was fine. Now, for some reason when i walk or run on a few of my floors, it sounds like im walking on water (sloshing noise). "impdetention/floor2" is the texture, and when I press the hotkey "n" to check the entities atributes and such there is nothing that would indicate it was set to a water brush. so i dont know what to do, and i dont want my floors sounding like im walking through water. Please help me.

the texture has a shader applied to it so that it sounds like your walking on metal in SP but it does not work in MP for JK2. In JA however, the sounds work for both MP and SP

If its a jk2 map, i have your solution. I was messing around a while back, and figured this out. The clip texture has normal foot sounds in jk2. So just make a super super thing clip textured floor, the same size as your floor. Put it down so that the floor and the clip floor "z-fight" (they are perfectly level...
In game, you wont see the clip textured floor only your floor, but you will hear the clip textured sounds (the normal foot sounds) and if you do it right, it wont look like your floating above the ground a little bit.
