After checking through a few posts, I have noticed a few issues creeping up.

Lets try and all behave when replying to posts. Calling people various names is something I wont tolerate and this also includes creating 'ignore lists'.

We are all here for the same reason - to enjoy and chat about SWGB. Some people have different ideas but remember this. The forum has people spread over different age groups and some times little details are forgotten due to this factor.

Its nice to swap ideas and disagree on these ideas but lets disagree in a less offensive way please. Otherwise i will use the force grip!

DarthMaul - as i assume you are referring to my ingore list, ill see if i can clear up the matter.

As an integral feature of Lucasforum's, it is my decision, and mine alone, as to whether i want to ingore another member or not.
Having said that, i believe my reasons for ignoring this member are clear, and putting this member on my ignore list prevents me from being irritated, thereby making the board a better place.

You can ignore who you like but to put it in your sign is another matter.

If I have to remove it myself, I will not be happy.

I told you so, Windu. It's fine to ignore people but advertising exactly who you are ignoring is asking for trouble.

Wow... I think you should fix that Windu. Besides the fact that it isn't the classiest thing to do... pissing off the Boss is even more of a no-no.

Yeah, when you have something questionable in your sig, its generally a good idea to check your PM often, cause you never know when you'll get that "Remove X from your sig in 24 hours or else message, and if you miss it, well then it sucks for you.

Admiral Vostok

Of course when you have a sig as long as Sith's it's easier to hide questionable comments... :D

LOL

I used to change the sig, adding and takingaway quotes, but I don't think I have in a long time (the sig used ot be longer too).

jesus sithy... i was just gonna say the same thing! you sig is longer than most people's posts!!!

i like the ignore list it shows how he cant tolerate the fact that i showed him where his template starts to fall.

Darth Windu
10-09-2003, 06:46 AM
I honestly dont see the problem here.

The reason the ignore list is in my sig is to let the board know that i am ignoring a member, so that i dont appear to be rude when i dont pay any attention to that particular member's posts.

There is no malice in putting that in my sig, it is information for the board, nothing more, nothing less.

Admiral Vostok

While that argument somewhat resembles sense, putting your ignore list in your sig does more harm than good, Windu. Take the hint and remove it.

Frozted_MM's
10-09-2003, 07:00 AM
It doesnt bother me let him keep it. Just goes to show his maturity level and how he can't accept rejection

Darth Windu
10-09-2003, 07:09 AM
Well, as i said, it's for informative purposes only. Besides, all of the other times i've had members on my ignore list ive put it in my sig and there's never been a problem before.

Anyway, if im told to remove it, i will. Until then, it stays.

Admiral Vostok
10-09-2003, 09:42 AM
Heh heh, it's funny because Windu doesn't know what Frozted just said.

Frozted_MM's

Yay and what really must make him mad is that I dont care about him ignoring me I could write heaps of stuff about him on the boards and he wouldnt know

Geez guys, what ever happened to the nice forums that we had going? C'mon guys...

lukeiamyourdad

I don't want to point my finger at anyone but since this forum has regained a certain life, it's been going a little bad. Strangely it concorded with Corran leaving us.

Damn you come back here!!!

Sithmaster_821
10-09-2003, 11:03 PM
Windu, no one complained about your ignore list before, cause the people in your ignore list had something nasty in their sigs about you too. Then you all got in trouble, and had to remove them. God knows why you put it back...

Admiral Vostok
10-10-2003, 12:38 AM
While I did enjoy Corran's presence and do miss him somewhat, I hardly thing his absence is to blame for the forum's current state of turmoil.

JediMasterEd
10-10-2003, 11:40 AM
I'm sure that we'll adapt to Corran's absense. And I agree Vostok, I doubt this is because of his unexpected leave.

lukeiamyourdad
10-11-2003, 12:03 AM
I think no one got my joke...

Admiral Vostok
10-12-2003, 05:42 AM
I did, but upon re-reading my post I can understand why you thought I didn't...

DK_Viceroy
10-13-2003, 08:59 AM
I'm suprised no one's blamed me for that but then again you guys haven't been jumping on me that much because i've put i've tried to only distribute the truth that has some roots in the movies to keep the purist movement happy while the truth Blossoms and becomes enlightening

Admiral Vostok
10-13-2003, 01:10 PM
Well Viceroy, we had problems initially, but now you're a more regular poster than you've ever been you're fitting in nicely.

Sithmaster_821
10-13-2003, 03:42 PM
Dont know what the hell your truth is Vicerory, but I think most people are being nice to you ever since you discovered the power of correct spelling and grammar:D

lukeiamyourdad
10-13-2003, 06:10 PM
Actually Viceroy, we can't really blame you for anything. Before you came, this forum was quiet for awhile with people having basically nothing to post about.

You actually brought back life to the forum...as weird as it sounds.

DK_Viceroy
10-15-2003, 07:27 PM
Well I learned that despite my deepest urgings that is shouldn't go over board even though it's my natural instinct to if my faveourite colour was blue i wouldn't just paint my room i'd paint everything in the room die my hair blue hair blue glasses and clothes but blue food colouring in my food and drink and paint my house blue.

People say i take things 5 steps to far.

Though sadly it looks like someone decided to take up my old bad attitude in the form of Frozted he did show such promise

And Sith i haven't said a word about yours or anyone elses sig I expect other people to do the same courtesy regarding mine

Admiral Vostok
10-15-2003, 11:49 PM
Well your sig is at a reasonable length now.

So what is your favourite colour?

swphreak
10-16-2003, 10:56 AM
Man, back to the ways from old times Vostok? ;)

We should meet on mIRC and have discussions sometimes. Heck, I'll set up a room, I'm on mIRC enough times anyways :p

(and "I don't like mIRC" is no excuse. I know of 2 browser apps that take up no space that can be used to access the particular server I'm on most.)

DK_Viceroy
10-18-2003, 07:47 PM
My Favorite colour sincfe you asked so nicely is emerald green

And call me pessamistic but the forum is beggining to calm down again it's a bit sad really i'll propably end up posting a bit more of my idea to lievn things up since for some reason that seems to have some people up in uproar

Admiral Vostok
10-19-2003, 07:52 AM
Yes, nothing like a good controversial SWGB2 design to liven up the forums.

lukeiamyourdad
10-19-2003, 03:08 PM
I don't think we should call it SWGB2 anymore. Let's just call it new SWRTS.

Don't worry about the calm. It's only the eye of the storm.

Frozted_MM's
10-20-2003, 05:52 AM
SWGB2 sounds so dumb hope they come up with a new name.
