This arrived today with an Atari 520STE and was so ashamed of buying an old computer and game that I hid it from my family :~ anyway, why don't other people post what loot they've gathered from ebay over the years? ... relevant to lec of course

Well it's not LEC related but I did buy an old console once, a CD32 to be exact. Buying old consoles/computers is cool!

Why not an old car while you're at it!

I seemed to think this thread was about lucasarts/lucasfilm items won on eBay .. Am I mistaken in that?

--Erwin I have 500+ feedback, gained over 7 years from buying and SELLING. It isn't all that much for that amount of time.

Erwin, what did I outbid you on?

I don't remember exactly, but I'm sure I have seen your Ebay handle before.

I believe a sealed Maniac Mansion (or was it Zak McKracken..?) box was one of the auctions I was outbid on by you.

Oh well...

I want to get an original and complete MI2 , but as it didn't come out on Atari ST I'll have to get the PC or Amiga version. This will have to wait until I get some more money though. Ebay is too addictive :(

Yep, it was that one. Umm, thanks for pushing the price from US$ 15.50 to 43.02! Considering the rarity of the bandana version, that the box is in good condition with only some very minor flaws around the edges and that I didn't pay shipping costs (overseas!) I still think it was a good deal.

I have all the games in their boxes, there are loads of rare things I want though. The bandana is one of them >:

Who gave the DOTT T-Shirt a try?

I didn't give it a shot because I wasn't sure if they are legit or fakes.
Some fakes do pop up on the German ebay once in a while.
Anyone thinks those 2 shirts were legit?

Oddly, the picture of those game boxes is making my mouth water, and I'm imaging the sweet smell of cardboard from them, and it's making me feel 10 or so years old again.

I love nostalgia :)
