Hey whoever reads this forum--

I'm planning to convert a couple of my old MP maps to Jedi Academy, and as soon as I finish that, I'm going to be starting on a single-player campaign! It'll be four missions, not in the Star Wars universe...but if you've been to my web site and read my short stories (HJ), you've already met the characters involved. I have one huge roadblock in my way right now, though...I can't model, and I need a new player model and some new weapon models to make this work properly!

I'd like to get a jump on these necessary outside resources before I start working full-force on this project, so that hopefully the models can be finished and ready far before the entire project is ready for release, and I won't be held up by anything other than myself.

So, modellers, if you've got some time on your hands and/or want a project to work on, give me a shout. I have a fairly specific idea in mind for the models I need. Reply to this topic (I'll be watching it), PM me, or email me (06jps@williams.edu), and I'll give you details. (I'd love to see some of your previous models, too!)

Thanks!

I'm gonna throw a couple details in here just because...

The player model I need is something like a futuristic, sleek, white suit of armor.

The weapon model will replace the lightsaber (it's a non-SW mod :)). Instead, I want a shield, kind of like the Gungans had in TPM (a skeletal ring with an energy field in the middle).

Oh...email or posting to this thread are probably the preferred ways to get in contact with me...some people (psyk0 ;)) have full PM boxes and LF bounces my responses.

Yeah sorry about that...havent used my box in a while and forgot to clean it up.

Ok so its not star wars related...maybe you can show me sketches if you have some?

Hmm, no I don't have any sketches at the moment, but maybe I can work something up... (I suck at drawing people, hehe.)

The basic idea is a sleek set of totally enclosed armor, done in a white/gray/silver color scheme. This person is a sort of futuristic special-forces police officer, like a one-man SWAT team.

Anyways, I can try to draw 'em and work up a list of specific details (from me, it'll be better in writing than drawn, I'm sure ;)). I'm a little reluctant to post details on the forum, though, is your PM box still full? :)

Okay...psyk0 had to decline, to anybody else out there, I would REALLY appreciate the help! This set of maps will suck without the proper main character!

Sounds interesting.
But why do you only need a main character's model, wouldnt you need enemies etc ?
If you could PM/E-mail/whatever me some details, i'd like to see 'em.

I might have a quite recent 'sleek armor guy' WIP wich may only need some slight adjustments.
