Hey everyone, I was just listening to the radio, when they start talking about pet peeves on my favorite morning show. It made me wonder what are your peeves?
I'ld have to say for me, it's gramatical and spelling errors in Legal documents. Like a letter from my HS, or from a collage.
Now they have spun off now, into annoyances or things you have noticed. Here's mine:
Annoyance #1:Car commercials. When did they have to start SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS with loud and/or abnoxious music and all the special effects?
Annoyance #2:Phone solicitours. I hate them, and they always call every five minutes. I have started using either one of my crazy sayings(THE DAMN DICE ARE IN THE BACK IN THE WINE GLASS WITH THE POLAR BEEAR SINGING ABOUT THE WAX OF THE OIL COOKIES THAT THE DANCING ELVES DROPPED ON THE DOG![special thanks to whoever I got that off of], or "I was talkin the the midget clown people of Leprechaun 7, and they said stuff"), or used my signature phone answer(Joes pool hall, you smack em, we rack em)XD
Things I have noticed:Why does Hawaii have interstate highways? How come if an animal makes an accident in the house, you get a tissue and throw it in the toilet, but we have to get the machine-of-doom looking thing, toss on rubber gloves, and hold a bag out 15 feet away from you when it is outside? Why must we learn about things we will never use unless we are on a game show?
all my pet-peeves are driving related.
i'm just the nicest guy you'll ever meet until i get into my car.
i just turn into an animal, a tiger grrrrr!, when i'm driving.. i swear everyone is out to annoy me.
just the other day i had an argument with some guy over a parking space (yes over a bloody parking space for crying out loud!).. which ultimately ended with me putting two dents in his car after he wound me up so much i completey lost it and punch his car twice (he decided he didn't want the space after that and drove quickly away)
its bad i know.. i get it from my dad, he's the same.
so really my pet-peeve is me in a car.
My pet peeves: other people's pet peeves aggravate me. I had this girl who sat next to me my senior year and she had a pet peeve about hair on cloths. I have long hair, i had a long haired cat (RIP Maya) and I had a dog, so I obviously couldn't leave the house in the morning without atleast a small amount of hair somewhere on me and she'd ALWAYs pick at me. If it weren't for the fact that I respected the teacher, I probably would of blown up and told her to piss off before I stick that hair down her bleedin throat...^ rant...
Annoyance: The computer in some games (ie: Warcraft 3). They're just fake as all hell (they can do everything at once while your stuck clicking every single thing) and they produce everything like 30x's faster than you (I had just made my Hero and 10 archers*NIGHT ELVES*and they hit me with 2 Heros and an army and they decimated me and my cousins Heros and our troops*as if the human troops can stand to the Orcs and Night Elves). UGH!!!

I guess my annoyance is when people online use CAPS ALL THE TIME!
And when playing MP online, when someone is just being an @$$ and can't be vote-kicked.

Video game cheaters example: I player in Raven Shield over the internet takes the same sniper postion every game and pops me every time, even I know were he is
example #2 my sister can kick my ass in DOA 3 with the same moves and character every time, Cheater!!!
I hate people who don't play the game fairly like camping and repeating the same moves over and over again like a broken record playing the Chipmunks Greatest Hits

My pet peeve is when people call me a f***ing eskimo all because my username is joetheeskimo5. Its just a username, for God's sake! If someone's username is SamFisher, do I think he's a fisher??

1: When people tug my mullet
2: When people say "why have you got a mullet
3: Small people

What really annoys me is when people and bands self title their albums. Or when they spend an entire music video taping themselves playing it. I mean what the hell? You've got a perfectly good 4 minutes of reel, and you can do whatever you want on it! Why tape yourself? And you've got a blank space on your CD cover where you can say anything you want. Oh, maybe I'll say my name. What the ghetto is that all about?
Also Carrot Top.
And Holocaust-Deniers.
And stupid people in general.

People don't let me talk! I am partially to blame for that, though. When I first meet a person, I don't talk all that much. Then later when I actually have something to say, they expect that I will keep silent.
Bothers me like crazy!
I am pleased that people are actually starting to listen to me now! Yay!!!!

My forum pet peeve is overuse of stupid smiles (not the basic emotions, but the charectors, etc)

My pet peeve is people who go out of thier way to make your life a little more hellish. Which unfortunately is a trait of mine on rather mechievious days.

The NAVY itself is not an acronym, but during that time, is when I developed my phobia of acronyms. Navy language itself consists of a steady flow of acronyms followed by any combination of "aye", "roger that", or "shipmate".:rolleyes:
