I know there are a lot of telented modelers/skinners out there, so I have a request. Can someone make a simple dummy model? I'm not looking for a startlingly lifelike dummy, just a basic dummy made of geometric shapes.
As a small incentive, when I recieve the dummy.pk3, I will repackage it with the Jedi Academy map (Currently under construction: http://www.thejediacademy.net/forums_detail_page.php?f_id=4992 ) as a saber target and the author will be given full credit for his model in the readme file.
Thanks in advance guys!

Would simple boxes be ok?

I'd rather it not be a group of squares, if thats what you're asking. I was thinking something rounded at the edges... A group of ovals would be better, lol.

Hmm like a crash test dummy maybe? :)

Similar to them, yes. :D
No faces, clothing or little caution symbols are necessary though. lol

Hmmmm, I like this idea. Beating very detailed characters with a simple polygonal character would be a kick! It'd be like being Mr. Game and Watch in SSBM!

LOL
Not the original intention of the model, but it does sound fun! :D
It's actually just going to be humanoid target practice for an upcoming map. (As I stated above.)

Would this crappy model work for you?:

Its a cross between a crash test dummy and wooden kung fu training dummy :D

A bit rough, but that is the idea! :D
That probably would suit the use just fine!

Ooh! That looks great!:D
Maybe you could make it textureless. Just plain ol' light grey. I know, I know, that will take days of hard work. :P
I like the colors, though. Maybe make two different versions!

All grey is fine by me, im just a newb when it comes to texturing!.
Those funky colors are just templates to help the painting process...so i can spot what goes where.
