Every year, the stores stuff the racks full of crumby Halloween CDs that either feature lame sound effects, or some knock off band covering songs from other people. And usually there is some lame song on it, you hate anyways.

So every year, I find a collection of real songs, from real artists, that I feel represent Halloween.

Darth Groovy Presents: Halloween 2003

1. John Carpenter - Halloween Main Theme
2. Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear The Reaper
3. Warren Zevon - Warewolves Of London
4. Classics IV - Spooky
5. Ray Parker Junior - Ghostbusters
6. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising
7. Van Morrison - Moondance
8. The Eagles - Witchy Woman
9. Nick Cave - Red Right Hand
10. Donavan - Season Of The Witch
11. Michael Jackson - Thriller
12. Gerard McMann - Cry Little Sister (Theme From The Lost Boys)
13. The Doors - People Are Strange
14. Frank Sinatra - Witchcraft
15. The Cure - Lullabye
16. Danny Elfman - This Is Halloween (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
17. Alice Cooper - Welcome To My Nightmare
18. Creedence Clearwater Revival - I put A Spell On You
19. The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil

Ok, that's my Halloween CD, now let's see some of you make one, this can be fun! :)

Thursday is a new rock band. They're ok, not that great, but they don't exactly "suck."

Anyway, I just need one song for my halloween needs: "Time warp" off of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Good stuff.

coupes.

Yes *clapping* that is an awesome cd. Especially because the doors are on it:p . Great Band. I am putting one together now, but my main songs would be AC/DC's Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, and Guns n' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle". Youll have my list soon.:)

Make it a goth/industrial type club and I am SOOOO there! :D

I always wanted to be a DJ anyways...

The only reason I did not put Ministry's "Everyday Is Halloween" on the CD is because I ran out of room on an 80 minute blank CD, and because I felt it would bore the trick or treaters. Most likely, I'll put it on next year's CD.

I usually (unless I get invited to a party) done the full Darth Maul costume each year, put on a home made Halloween CD, and pass out candy. I love it, because the younger kids get scared to death, and I wind up calming them down, and the older kids think it is as cool as fried ice cream. Every year, traffic slows down on my block, because the neighbors try to keep up with my act, as I twirl the lightsaber to Warren Zevon's "Warewolves Of London", but I always stell the show.

In case you have not already seen this several hundred times, here is me in my costume:

Any cd by Marilyn Manson could qualify as a Halloween CD.
