Iíve got Two new mods for Jedi Academy, the first is a general test of adding the Dragon Remix weapons in JKA. 5 guns and 14 melee weapons for single player: http://www.pcgamemods.com/2797/

The second is a skin called Super Soldier (with an American and a Russian version) based on the Dante model: http://www.pcgamemods.com/2798/

For the skin I went though the trouble of making a 'SP patch'. Basicaly a .pk3 file with the model allows the snin and model to replace the Jedi/Jedi2/Jedimaster in the single player game. If you don't want it to effect sp but want to use the skin for multiplayer all you gotta do is delete the <filename>patchforSP.pk3 file.

Easy as pie.

Do the melee weapons replace existing Sabers etc. ?

If so then it doesn't really matter, but i don't really want them to be replaced....though i suppose i can do my own editing for my use ;)

:cool: In this version, yes. It's mainly a compatibility test ("hey swords work! Cool!"). In a real release it's possible to add in more sabers/swords AND keep the light sabers, all that would call for is sacificing a saber color (who liked yellow anyway...) as well as the blurcore/glow.

Technically it sould be possible with the guns too... but I haven't tested that out yet.

:cool: Second test, just to prove it could be done:


35 melee weapons. NPC have been altered so they use the new weapons as well. These still replace the hilts that come with the game.
