I give you, JA Patch Commander:

http://rokbros.com/freedom/files/patchja.zip

This lets you switch between JK:A 1.00 and JK:A 1.01, with the click of a bat file...
(or if you installed the patch, and simply want to revert back to 1.00)

Put the files in your base dir. (read the readme for credit and info)

Have Fun

Good idea, though the patch is nothing to be afraid of.

Honestly there is nothing wrong with it. If rolling being slightly harder to do scares you.... heh.

I'll take that with all the bug fixes and removed exploits any day!

Sure there aren't many servers now, but there will be once people upgrade.

But... good job, now people have NO EXCUSE not to upgrade.
; )

Indeed scaring is a bit overdramatic... but it IS a good idea. In JO it would have been sweet as long as there are servers playing all versions.

But yes there is no reason to be afraid... i kinda got my butt kicked playiong last night, but my heart wasn't really into it so i guess it had nothing to do with the patch... found very few to no gameplay diferences. The bug fixes are worth it tho.

Anyway.. it still is a good idea :)

Has anyone had any problems installing this? Remnant over at TeamWarfare said he couldnt get it to work, yet most of my team used it with no problems...

Ack, My bad, I had a wrong command in 100.bat
Heres a patch: http://rokbros.com/freedom/files/patch.zip
Just Replace 100.bat in this zip file with the one from the previous zip file... Ill fix the first zip file also, but if anyone doesnt want to download 15 megs again, just do this.

That's really...mildly amusing.

Extract 100.bat, 100 (folder), 101.reg, 101.bat, 101 (folder), 101.reg to your GameData\Base Folder

You should have the fallowing in your base dir:
2 Folders, 1 named "100" and another "101"
4 files, "100.bat","100.reg", "101.bat","101.reg"

Then click the bat file for the patch you want.
