ok im new to mapping and stuff, im jsut giving it a try :)

anyhow i created my first room ( yeah, WOW, u say) and i cant run it. I chose -vis -fast compiler and i jsut got this.
************ ERROR ************
LoadPortals: couldn't read C:/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy/GameData/Base/test1.prt

so how do i get to play my amazing map????

first you need to do a compile option tha makes a bsp and then you can do your current option. Choose a compile ofption that has the word "bsp" in it.

Well, it hopes if you post more of the error log, but considering the problem is a bad portal file, from my experience that is usually caused by a leak in the map.

Go fix any leaks.
