View Full Version : Modeller Needed!
Hey, I'm the leader of the Reborn Ancient Jedi TC (http://raj.jediknight.net) (forums here (http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=548)), and I'm here to say that we REALLY need a modeller...
To be more precise, we really need a specific model! A Morgukai Warrior (http://www.starwars.com/databank/organization/morgukai/index.html)... I know that it is probably really hard to make, but we need this one badly...
Here are some pictures of them:
Here is a shot of a regular Nikto:
Anyway, if anyone is feeling up to the challenge of creating this, please write back here, or e-mail me at email@example.com! Thank you for your time!:)
Also, feel free to stop by our site at http://raj.jediknight.net plus our forums at http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=548!:D

You might get your wish granted, im in the process of making a nikto head for a possible custom species for Jedi Academy:
What do you think?
Go to http://www3.sympatico.ca/psykopat/ for more renders.
Those warriors are pretty cool, i wasnt sure what kind of body he needed...i think i know now :).
WOW! Man, that's great work...
Exactly what's needed...
So, will you be making the rest of the guy (his body)?

Well i have to finish and optimize this head first...its almot done, but i have to cut down on some polys. I will consider making a new body.
Edit: Those are great pics you showed there, but i cant see the full body, do you think you could find something more detailed? I'm hunting down some pics but they're hard to find. Scans from comic books would be great.
If you DID do the body, that would be really awsome...:)
But what is needed for this TC is the body of a Morgukai Warrior, not the regular Nikto...
But hey, it's your work (and seems awsome as always)...:)

I would be doing the Morgukai warrior first and then a Jedi Outfit.
Cool, so you'll do it?
I'll try to dig up some pictures of their bodies (though the ones here were hard enough to find by themselves :S )...:)
Here are two pictures I found (not much more to go by, but it's incredibly hard to find these pictures)!
One of them is an older picture, only bigger (so it's easier to see the body):
The other is this (not so great picture, but still a bit usable):
I hope to find more soon, but they are hard to come by...:(

I didnt have the 2nd one, thanx! that'll help.
If the local comic shop was still open, i would buy the rite of passage series...unfortunately i cant anymore.
If I could FIND a local comic shop, I'd buy it... But of course, since I don't have a scanner, it would only be helpfull for me...:p
Psyk0Sith, how far has the model come?:)
The screens currently on the Nikto WIP page (http://www3.sympatico.ca/psykopat/nikto.htm) look great, and now has a body... Great work, Psyk0Sith!:D

That's the most recent version...it needs uvw mapping, some tweaks here and there, plus the usual rigging. I need to add details to his forearm armors.
I even added some teeth so he'll look meaner!. :D

psycho's tha man. but lets not get this confused people lol he was making this model before this thread was made. so dont hound him on progress reports and whats going on with him. let him finish his model and you do with it whatever you want after its ready for download.
by the way psycho have you checked out K.O.T.O.R. yet? its pritty freaking good for a rpg.

dude its really nice. hit me up after you beat the game. theres some cheat codes that can get you whatever armor and stuff you want. theres also going to be a KOTOR part 2 sometime in 2004. its supposed to take place hundreds of years after this story thats in the game.
