View Full Version : How do I load mods on a MAC?

I've looked all over and I can't find the answer. I have Jedimod and BFP2X and I put their folders into the same folder as the program--but they don't show up on the "mods" list! Someone help! It's driving me nuts!

Did you put them in the "gamedata" directory? There, the mod should show up in an own folder called the mods name.
This is how to do it on pc, I guess it's the same on mac....

i read online that on macs, instead of a gamedata folder, you're just supposed to put it in the same folder as the program--I have and no luck so far. Any other thoughts? Can I load them in the console somehow?

Would it have to be anything with using PC version mods on mac version?

I don't know. I couldn't find anything about whether .gob files are usable on Macs or not. But Jedimod isn't even that--it's a .pk3, which I would think would work since all the main game assets are .pk3... Hm.

Does the mod create a folder by itself?

When the mods unzip they do. Should I leave them zipped?

If you are running osX I think you put them in users>(your login name)>Library>Application suport> JediknightII>Base
But you might want to ask at the forum on www.insidemacgames.com
