Ok, first off, I've never seen the Matrix. But I have heard almost all of the story from cruising the forums here.

The story sounds really bizzarre. Should I see it or not waste my time?

You should see it. It's a great movie. Then see the sequels, which are even better, even if they are a little bit confusing. If you life the first one and plan on seeing the sequels, try your hardest to see the animatrix and play Enter the Matrix, too. They clear up alot of confusion that the 2 films cause.

It's a grand flick, man. At least watch the first one. If it's not your cup of tea, you have six extra hours of your life that can be wasted on internet porn instead of sequals.;)

Advise what? Watching the Matrix, or wasting time with internet porn? I chose the words "wasting time etc" for a reason...

yes, don't be a sicko, watch the matrix, not the porn, uncle sam wants you :tophat1:

matrix is a good movie except for the little screw up when neo jumps out of the way of the subway train you see incredibly obvious strings in the upper right hand corner of the screen at the very end of the clip when neo is flipping back and the fact that he's holding on to the strings throughout the whole clip anyways but other than that it's great

I like the sequels too, just don't say things like the sequels are better than the original. Because that is obviously untrue.

matrix is a good movie except for the little screw up when blah blah blah

Are you kidding me? I HATE it when people nitpick little things like that. You KNOW there are wires even if you can't see them, so why does it matter? Every time they did a stunt defying the laws of gravity they had wires attached to them.

What are you, 12? You'll understand when you're older.

I know but it's pretty dang bad when you can see the wires in plain view, but like I said, other than that it's great, it doesn't pull me from the over all experience

14, and internet porn is taking it way too far for me

Shush, be quiet kids. :p

I would recommend to watch the first part which is the best part of the series. If you like it, watch the rest, but dont expect too much of it besides really great action scenes.

At the risk of having my throat cut in my sleep by wannabe purists, I thought Reloaded was badass, and in every way that I can think of, a vast improvement on the original. Revolutions, however, was as I've stated before; IMHO, it simply didn't have enough to do with the actual matrix. Most of it is the battle for Zion, which had great special effects. I just missed all the kung fu, running on walls, shooting, etc...

*slits throat*

you sir, are retarded!!!:p

Seriously though, of all the three i'd say Reloaded was by FAR the worst. Revolutions comes in a close second behind the original, because the original is simply un-duplicatable.

Make that two throats. I saw it twice at the theater, and it gets regular play on my DVD player.

OK, unlike the others here I'm not a big Matrix fan. That said, since you're here, you're obviously a Star Wars (SciFi/Fantasy) and FPS/Action game fan. So I would highly recommend checking out the first one.

If you think it is an OK action flick with heaps o'style yet surprisingly little depth for all the pseudo-intellectialism being flung around ultra-serious style, like I did, you can probably skip the sequels. If you just loved it and want more, by all means go for it - but try to get to the last one in the theater - there is nothing like the big screen for grand spectacle like this.
