MICHAEL Jackson is planning the wackiest garage sale in history as he battles children sex charges and a $200 million debt crisis.

More than 1700 items are up for grabs, ranging from precious personal items, including a Grammy award, to oddities such as tubes of skin bleaching cream.
Jackson has approved the list, which includes gold and platinum awards for landmark albums such as Thriller,a copy of the deed for Neverland Ranch and vintage costumes.

Sketches of proposed plastic surgery and items belonging to his superstar sister Janet and brothers, Jermaine and Tito, will also beoff-loaded.

The list stretches from the impressive to the bizarre: self-motivation notes, a hand-written warning to his sister-in-law about child molestation even the symbolic keys to Perth.

Experts say the collection is impossible to price.

Sources close to Jackson this week confirmed the embattled entertainer was serious about the sale.

They said Jackson was to announce the massive sale this month, but recent developments stalled those plans.

The Herald Sun has seen a copy of the 33-page list.

Jackson's latest oddball move comes amid severe career and personal lows.

lw+2Two weeks ago, he was charged with sexually molesting a 12-year-old boy.

Soon after, a US newspaper claimed Jackson was in serious financial trouble, with personal debts of $200 million.

Slumping record sales, hundreds of lawsuits and the latest child molesting charges had cost Jackson millions of dollars, the report said.

US sources close to Jackson would not comment on any link between his financial woes and the bizarre sale.

But Jackson's apparent desperation is echoed in his willingness to sell the personal belongings of his famous family.

Janet's marriage certificate to James DeBarge and a contract for Jermaine's nose job are included in the sale.

Auctioneer Charles Leski, an expert in pop culture, said the sale was impossible to value.

"This could bring millions and millions of dollars," Mr Leski said.

"As a star, Michael Jackson is in the same league as Elizabeth Taylor or Princess Diana. People either love him or hate him.

"However, people who love him will fight over these pieces.

"Some astronomical prices are achieveable."

The range of items on the list, titled "Jackson Memorabilia Collection", is staggering.

Jackson hopes to sell 37 items of sporting memorabilia, 82 awards and plaques, 397 items of clothing, 155 letters and papers and 397 family items.

Jackson's personal effects include a hand written note to his late sister-in-law, Dee Dee, regarding an article about child molestation.

He urges Dee Dee to read the article to her three children.

"It brings out how even your own relatives can be molesters of children, or even uncles or aunts molesting nephews or nieces," the note says.

Another Jackson note for sale offers self-motivation before his Thriller album.

"Great things will come from me," Jackson writes.

Jackson will also sell a copy of a 1995 contract for Jermaine's nose job.

Jermaine's handwritten note to Tito, regarding his diet, is also onthe list.

Signed items include the celebrity scrawlings of boxer Mohamed Ali, and Beatles George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Sources said Jackson was likely to restart his sale plan next year.

Rusalka is Mermaid in Polish. What kind of a name is that?

I hated it until Raz called me his 'little mermaid' and then I sorta think it's kinda funky now. I mean if a ten year old kid likes it, that's gotta be awesome, huh?

As for Michael Jackson... Oh come on. How could a man that grabs his crotch so suggestively be evil?

skin bleaching cream.

actually...michael jackson has a disease called vitiligo...which is where smooth white spots appear all over the skin. so when he got vitiligo, his body got white spots on it...hence the disappearing act for...thirty years or whatever.

or at least that's what he claims to have. if he does bleach his skin....that's just wrong.

I was under the impression that he tried covering it with black makeup until the majority of his skin was white, then he started doing it the other way round as gradually more and more if his true colour dissapeared.

That must be it....who'd wanna be white, everyone knows that black guys get all the girls.....something to do with stereotypes about big ears or something......?

From what my dad told me, he bleaches it because with vitigo his skin is very vulnerable to sunlight. He's a dentist, and one of his friends is a dermatologist. If you do some research into the field of dermatology you'll dig something up about it.

An old soccer playin' friend of mine had vitiligo, and it was much different than what Jackson has. It is VERY VERY uncommon for it to cover the whole body so perfectly that you can see no traces of the old self. You get it in very random blotches. Also, even if he was to have vitiligo, we would have noticed the transition from black to white, noticing the blotches and spots on his face. Also, if he actually had it, he would have come out with it long ago, and stopped all rumors in their first stages.

A man with that many operations can not blame one change to his body on a disease. It is a cover story. Because we know he lies (child molestation!), I'm confident he bleaches his skin, and does not have vitiligo.

No, I think it's that he bleaches his skin because of the vitiligo that way the skin tone looks even rather than blotchy.

At least, that would be the reasonable excuse if I could prove it was true.

I'm pushed to not believe him, alot because of how he also claims that he hasn't ever had surgery. Ever. My belief in him left that day.

I bet all the stuff he's selling is secretly evidence against him. It's the perfect ploy to get rid of it all.
