iv made a model in milkshape for a o'neill for the SG mod team and now need tomake this model into a character to play as in multyplayer and have no clue how can someone please talk me through it step by step im desprate

Step 1-Buy 3D studio max 4.0 or 5 or 6.

well i cant buy it cos im 15 so i dont have a credit card and it aint sold in the shops so im going to download the 30 day trial if it works this time last time it froze at 100 %

You can use Milkshape to create models for JA.
Theres a plugin somewhere on the net that exports milkshape files into .glm.

It converts files into .MD3s, which can then be coverted into GLMs through MD3View - the only problem is, you can only convert a model into GLM through MD3View if it has 1 frame of animation!

Also, I think it doesn't even export the bones, so don't even bother.
