I've only played a small part of the first game, and it seems to be quite good. I'm a crappy driver though...so I ended up having a lot of fun trashing the vehicles and causing mayhem in the city streets. :D

As for Mafia 2...good news, but was it really any surprise in an age of 'Sequel Syndrome'? Sequels are safe bets because you already have a captive audience.

Let's hope they don't 'streamline' this game to appeal to a wider audience, because that bandwagon is getting pretty full...
