hya all,

i have a little problem with saber moddeling. I made my own saber hilt. It looks great ingame, but whenever i use more then one pic in my saber the game crashes.

The error is fs_readfile is empty. Does anyone know about this problem and how to solve this.

I use milkshape and a glm importer and exporter.

more than one pic? you mean more than one texture????

yeah if you wanna call it like that. Whenever i use one *.jpg it works but when i use my second or third etc. It gives the error:confused:

You can use as many textures as you want, why you would want to I'm not sure but woteva. Just make sure that you map each skin texture on the hilt & it should be fine.

Here's a simple & effective tutorial on how to get weapon models in-game via Milkshape http://www.massassi.com/coffeestain/03.html.

I've never used the glm exporter so that alone may be your problem. The tutorial explains how to export to MD3 & use MD3View to convert the model over to .glm.
