JKA FIlm-Server Wars entering production!!

Unless there are any problems with the script I just spend 5 hours writing, filming for my next movie is beginning. Hopefully, we can start this coming Friday (Jan. Second) on the {JE} Clan server.

As always, I am in need of actors. I have 3 to 4 people from the {JE} Clan that are always happy to help out, but I need some people that can be present to help out. Two of the scenes in the film require as many people as possible, as there is lots of combat between ships, and land troops and machines.

This film will be like Clone wars and the end scene from EP2 rolled into one. I also request that any new actors wanting to help out, email me for a copy of the script (which is in word format)

I know how to fix this without deleting any maps or vehicles. I actually asked KOTORJAY (Creator of the KORTOR Map).
He tells me to put everything into my base. There is a folder called Hide Bonus Ships. If you get the .veh error here is what to do. Put all maps and vehicles ur NOT using at that time into that folder and u can rotate maps and vehicles in and out.

Well, anyone examining the Source code would find the line that says max vehicles 12/// can limit 12 but no more than 64

or something like that. So they just did their homework, and the OJP are working on it as well. what someone NEEDS to do is make it so that the 2 player vehicles aren't so buggy and choppy for the 2nd+ passengers.

For some reason it's not working for me. It must've been working for me today (for where you're from, yesterday) when we did the filming because I had those extra vehicles installed. Now I get the vehicles too large message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled this mod, hasn't helped. Do you know (does anyone know) how to fix this? (Without having to remove the extra vehicles).

*sighs* it seems like ever since the SDK came out, mods that claim to have broken the vehicle limit cap are sprouting up like daisies. First there was the OJP, then the OmniMod, now the RGB saber mod, and the NPC mod.

Yea thats were we filmed last night. I guess next week is KFS, The Racing map and Lindsey's Geonosis map. I thought filming went well last night. Ill be there again next Friday also and if you do it monday, Ill see what I can do.

One more thing.... when you had us fire at the sailbarge, did you want it to blow up? If you want to, I could get a few ppl later on and we can set it up with mines and stuff for you to film it blowing up. If you want to do this let me know either here or on msn. The explosion would only take about 15 mins to do.

Yes, the Geonosis map should be done by then, its very simple. Just a huge easygen terrain with hills all around the edge and a few in the middle for good measure. But yea, next friday, we will be working on the BDC scene and the Geonisis one. You may have to swap some vehicle themed maps out for the BDC one, it has 6 diff swoops.

I have tried the Last Hope mod many ways. All I have to say is their is no hope for this mod. I still get the VEH error. And I think theirs gonna be filming tongiht in the JE server at the usual time.

Ok, I've managed to reach Red at CS, and he is looking into the server problem. He should have it fixed by friday.

Be sure to download the Geonosis map from PCGM for Friday's filming, as this is the biggest scene in the film. Anyone who reads this besides my regular actors, are invited to come and drive ships and whatnot. The file is allowed to stay on PCGM, I had some trouble with AOTCTC staff, but everything was worked out.

Finding servers to film have been tough lately, Admin Amidala set up a server for us, but I can't seem to see it on ASE. So, filming tomorrow is up in the air, I might try to reach Zappa, and see if one of his friends can host for us, but the JE server most likely is still not fixed. Ill post here tomorrow with any updates.

I have the server in both ASE and the game favorite menus. I cannot get on the server though either one. I enter the password exactly as Lindsey and Amidala posted it. It tells me Invalid Password! Press Escape then try again. Then it goes on and on saying Awaiting Connection or Challenge.

One problem with us using your starfighter casper. When you spawn it, it will kick everyone (and there are a bunch more people tonight) off the server except for you and lindsey. So its either, you give it to us all and we dont fly it or its not going on the server because I dont think 5-6 people wanna get kicked from server cause you wouldnt let ppl have your thing.

I might have to do a clean install of windows to fix my Run.dll file. Without it, I can't play JKA and If I do a windows clean install, I lose EVERYTHING and wont have time to get it all.

Unfortunately cos of school and cos of yours and my locations, things are gonna be tight. The only times I can come will be your Tuesday night at 7:00pm. You will also need my Geonosis map, and Darkforces streets to do a patch up scene.

I would come but ive got other things I really need to do. Like work on TJD. I promised myself I would work on it all last weekend but I didnt. So dont expect to see me on much this weekend. And Lindsey, I still need those voices. Get them to me very very soon. Also anybody here that would like to be a maincharcter voice actor youve still got a chance to be in TJD. The characters are Eric and Lara. I would like the people to be an actual couple...married or not, but I will need you onboard for atleast 2 more movies after TJD.

We came so close to finishing the damn filming, but now, we gotta wait it out, unless I get an IP for the server, im gonna delay the final filming of a freakin 20 second clip until tomorrow or something when MSN comes back online.

I've got the editing part down pretty well, I have a good editor. All parts of the movie are still in the editor, and until I get all the voices recorded, the film won'y be compiled because of the massive amount of time required to do so.

at the chance to earn 2000 bucks, I plan on entering all 3 of my films made so far, and maybe making a special edited version of server wars to submit, as all films must be under 15 mins running time

And a Golden R2-D2 and C-3P0!! I would submit TJD but it exceeds the 15 minute limit by 2hrs and 15mins :D. So I have decided to make a small movie to submit. Ok, today, I'm planning on adding the voices to the film, which will be mostly just me today, why? you ask? Well, many of my actors don't have Mics, or the time to do voice acting, so, just to get the film out the door, ill do it myself ;)


The contest from atomfilms is proving to be tricky, they said I couldn't use ANY copyrighted star wars music in the film. So, im trying to convert the music to MIDI format, which makes it sound like ****, but at least its star wars music. If any of you happen to come across MIDI star wars music from the sound tracks on the web in your travels, I would like to know about them, most of the software i'm using is crap. I need to convert ALL the flaming tracks in my movie to this format, Im talking tracks from ESB, ROTJ, EP2, and TPM.

Yeah I do, I'm just not sure if those scenes been redone or not by others.

I remember I was Luke Skywalker in the opening scene. Morgan Katarn at the end scene. One of the Shadowtroopers (with Shadowfox) on Korriban (with the shuttle), and George Lucas with the sniper rifle (disrupter rifle).

Am I still in those scenes?
