neutral players

when i have neutral computer players, and i give them troopers, why do they still attack me and my opponent? sorry if im asking a noob question.

The neutral player will still attack you, but he won't actuvely seek you out. The only way to get rid of this as far as I know, is to make him your ally and be in either tech one or two so the Holonet Transciever tech won't be researched.
