EFMI from hard drive?

Is there a way to play EFMI direct from the hard drive?

Seems to take awhile to load sometimes, while moving between different rooms/areas.

I don't know if anybodies done it or if it's even possible, But I suppose if you copied all of the files from the CD's to your hard drive, it just might work. Although that's a long shot.
