Is it possible to buy any of them from LucasArts because I remember hearing it was (I think on this forum) if you made special contact with them.

Which games are you talking about?

I might have said something like "you might be able to get them if you contact LucasArts". No guarantees though, so "you *might*" is the key phrase here. But try it and tell us what they said, it might help some other fans on the board.

As for me, I won't be able to even try since I'm overseas and LucasArts promptly redirects me, whenever I ask, to Activision who are certainly way less than friendly when it comes to end-users ordering items directly.

Well, Loom (the good version with all the dialogue), Maniac Mansion, Zak, Indy 3, maybe the original Monkey Island.

I know all those are in that classic pack, but just as I ordered it they took it off the site and cancelled it.

Nope, there's no way you can get the floppy versions of any of those games from the Company Store anymore. (You can't get any version of Zak, Indy3, and Loom at all.)

Have you taken a look at Maniac Mansion Deluxe?

Indy 3 can be downloaded at www.the-underdogs.org

Zak can be downloaded at www.oldgames.nu

The Mac version of Monkey1 can be gotten at Mac Garden and can played in ScummVM.

If you already have the floppy version of Loom you can get a patch at underdogs.

Alternatively, eBay (http://www.eBay.com) is always good for this kind of thing.

Who needs eBay when you can be a pirating bastard? Eh? Eh?

MM Deluxe is a fan game, and therefore not an official release which can be purchased directly from LucasArts.

Everything else you mentioned is piracy, no matter how high of a respect you may hold for The Underdogs. The question was about what can be purchased from the Company Store, anyway.

You can't download any LucasArts games from Underdogs - including Indy 3 (unless you mean the godawful action game?).

I think most lof the recent releases of DOTT come with the original MM as a game within a game.

Most of the others basically don't sell anymore.

All versions do. Even the floppy disk version, I believe.

There is (or used to be) a PC version of the side scroller "Super Star Wars" that was made by a 3rd party company who tried to sell it to LucasArts on the Underdogs.

The story goes it was rejected as LEC was getting ready to launch Rebel Assault at the time.
