First, I *did* look at the sticky, couldn't find anything there, feel free to yell at me if I just overlooked it.

I was just wondering, I'm working on a saber crystal, but I can't quite see how to add it's properties like any other item. The only way I can see that would work would be to alter every existing saber uti file to work with this crystal. Is there an easier way? Hope someone can help me!

What type of crystal are you making. Is it an upgrade crystal or focusing crystal.

For an upgrade crystal, yes you would have to edit all saber uti's if you wanted it to work with them all.

for a Focusing crystal you need to add a new row to upcrystals.2da and make three new sabers, just make new upgrade properties for each upgrade crystal in the property list save it as xml then you can load it into the other 2 sabers. ( you need to use the uti editor in KT to do that.

There is another way to make sabers use your upgrade crsytal if you make one , only make your sabers be able to use the crystal and make those uti files how ever you want - like making an upgradable armour or weaon basically but those crystals restricted to your saber

... hmm just have a though , could a blaster be made to use a saber crsytal ? sounds like an interesting idea i must try out

seeing the upgrade crystal can be made to be used for any kinda of bonus you could make it do more damage , bonus to attack etc

i may try it sometime
