View Full Version : How Alegis would save christmas

Been long time and played again... banned from 3 servers

Once for owning too much with the pistol
Secondly for saying once: "who's the dumbest:the killtrack user or the abusing admin", and even then GETTing ampunished ("You choked on *** 12 inch, get a life)
Thirdly for winning a duel from someone who hadnt lost 1 that day

I wont ever play this game again unless maybe xmod, moviebattle, or one of the TC but if i ha dthe power tomake universal fixes to the game and save christmas, i would dream of

-no admin modz
(really, the best admin only needs kick and ban)

-disable the option "sabers only"
really, duelling can be done best in duels!

Well, i'm maybe ranter #1299, but I will save christmass! Mark my words!

Get into Siege man, way less whining. You can chat kill someone and they actually don't call you an f'ing gay lamer!

CTF! CTF! CTF! CTF! CTF! CTF! CTF! CTF!

Instagib! Instagib! Instagib! Instagib! Instagib!

Siege! Siege! Siege! Siege! Siege! Siege!

Hah, I recently started playing JA a lot more than usual, and JO at that as well. I think I became the victim of admin commands (including ban and kick) atleast 10 times.

1. One time I attacked some person called BoA-Nikita (her saber was up, not chatting; I was following the server rules) yet it took them /amempower to defeat me and kicked me at that as well. Hmm, unless they were engaged, I see no reason that guy should abuse the admin commands just because he sucks.

2. I entered a German server and played on Hoth (SP map) and chopped some Wookiee guy off his Tauntaun and took it from him (note: his saber was up and he was attacking me - again, I was following the server rules) and yet still I see them babble in German saying something like "Nexus ist ein lamer, kick" and next thing I know I'm kicked.

3. Some guy didn't like intruding on his "room" and also disliked the fact that I refused to duel him (mainly because I kept getting 'Connection interrupted' every 4th second) so eventually I got kicked

4. somehow I by mistake flipkick a guy, and his army of clan people who haven't seen action in ages jump on me first second I flipkicked him, eventually it said "You have been punished, mouhaha" and then I got banned.

By the way, I got my revenge on their little honour community a few days ago, go here (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=131793) to see my "Mad Wookiee" video where I finally get to own some stupid anti-lamers, even though that's not really the purpose of the video.

So what was the purpose of the Mad Wookie video?

To me it just looked like somebody was saying "Hey, I know how to make a video from a game with music!"

I'm not saying it was bad though, just didn't get the "point" since it was said not to be "ownage."

Btw, when you say "anti-lamers" what do you mean?

Do you mean as in h0n0r d00ds?

I didn't try the chopshop servers because i wanted to know if the admins got even more lower than they were :p

as for siege, well...ive had enough with playing against teams double the numbers. Still people switching sides to the winning team? An autoassign/balance system is what a mod really could have used

Thanks to TK-8252, I became aware that OJP Mod has exactly that, it balances the teams every 30 seconds. But they don't have a Linux version, so I asked Hex and Orion to add that feature to xmod2 and JA Reloaded, respectively.

Grr...I attacked a dude when he was attacking me. They had somehow enabled disemberment (spelling?) and I chopped off his head. Next thing you know, I'm kicked. I went back...killed everyone on the server with an E-11 (yeah, they really sucked) and got kicked again.

At least I got my revenge.

I hate admin abuse mods with all of my heart.

Amidala, what happened to your Asteroids TFFA server? I used to go on it a lot!! Now I have to use jolt.co.uk's server, and it's weird, cause all of the asteroids are all twitching and stuff.

I also dislike dueling. I wish duelers would get a duel server, and duel there. I love my guns. That, and all of my Force powers...especially lightning.

Wait, you mean guns are actually useful in JA multiplayer?

Umm, duh!! Blowing people away with rocket launchers is fun. One of my [MFE-A] members and I were playing Desert Rescue Siege Mode yesterday. He drove at me with a swoop, blasters blazing. I shot one rocket head on, killed him, destroyed the swoop, and killed someone else from the swoop's explosion. I then called my character an,"anti-armor Chewie." Then, I riddled him with the Heavy Repeating Blaster when he was running around, trying to detonate me with Thermal Detonators and mine the place with Trip Mines.

Guns PWN all man. I took out a few Dark Jedi with an E-11 yesterday...O.K., O.K., I lost my health from 200 to 70 doing that.

I love chop shop instagib.

The bots DO get a bit annoying to me though... it's insane in there!

If you're looking for action I can't recommend anything but Chop Shop.

Ooo, thanks for saying something about the bots. I didn't realize I didn't have my dumbed-down disruption bots on that server, I had my regular Chop Shop bots.

I found that my regular Chop Shop bots are way too accurate and deadly on an instagib server, so I made special "dumbed-down" bots for my instagib servers.

Yes, a 1-hit kill instagib disruptor in the hands of an "aimbot" that never misses even a mid-air long range shot would be very annoying. Thanks for mentioning that, I have replaced the bots with ones that only shoot as well as humans.

You can only imagine my pain at being shot down before I get to the flag. Every.Damn.Time. And I'm pretty damn good at avoiding/flag carrying too.

Your instagib servers are great though. And they give me good training for flag carrying in my clan ctfs. I haven't convinced them to start an instagib ctf night though. :(

In that case anyone that played a bot with aim like mine would be screwed from the moment they spawned ;)

(for some reason utcomp doesn't show hit percentages for instagib =/ that and that version has a few bugs with things not dissapearing/appearing properly, and apparently it didn't show pings or packetloss (doesn't matter, it was on LAN).

Of course, they always were. What game were you playing?

Single Player is completely different from MP in both games...

If you were being sarcastic my friend, it's too early for me. ; )

OJP has that feature now, but we're still waiting for RazorAce to actually release it seperate from the "enhanced" pack with linux support.

Unless you want sabers to be useless alongside guns, that is! ; )

RazorAce, if you're reading this, c'mon, release a new Basic beta (w/ linux compile), just with the stuff you have so far, seperate from the enhanced stuff, please?
