Window in MI2

I know I'm supposed to open the window of Rum Rogers' cottage, but Guybrush just says "It's stuck." I have tried using everything in my inventory to open it and nothing works. Every walkthrough I've looked at (I know, cheating is bad) just says "Open the window."
HELP!
