I added a 'no' option, since that's kind of important in a yes/no poll :dozey:

I replied 'hopefully', but that depends on the games that come out. I do get some use out of my GBA SP, but not enough to just blindly buy the 'next cool thing'.

Perhaps this should have been a N-DS vs. PSP poll and thread ... get some good heated debate going ...

Why? Everyone will probably say PSP. :indif:

I dunno, I have every Nintendo system released in the US, but it seems to cost a lot....... :\

zbomber, it's gonna be cheaper than 200 dollars i know that much, i think it'll be 100 dollars if i remember right.

Et: i didn't add a no? that's odd.

Txa: it'll play all gameboy games, and it's wireless^^

Probably not, but if I felt the need to buy a new portable console I'd definately go with NDS over PSP.

Ok I'm impressed they could make the PSP almost as powerful as the PS2 and yet keep it so small and all, but when you think about it no developper would risk investing a great amount of money to develop a game for such a small or uncertain market. So we're mostly gonna see ports from the PS2 in the PSP's game library. And who would rather play a game like Grand Turismo on a ****ty screen and controller, whent they can comfortably play it in the comfort of their living room on a big screen and surround sound ???

On the other hand, the NDS will force developpers to come up with new and original games. There's also a couple of new features like the touch screen and dual screens that developpers can take advantage of. Ds is also backward compatible with all of the GBA games sou you get an instant 500 titles library...

Another major advantage of the DS over the PSP, is battery lives. I heared PSP had like 4-6 hours of battery life compared to 12 for DS, it's 2 to 3 times more play time without a recharge or battery change... that's extremely important for a handheld.

But unless there is a really cool game in an area I care about (first person RPG like BG: DA or Shining Soul II, or FPS) then it hold no interest for me.

People that aren't at home. Having a smaller screen doesn't bother me. It remains pretty much the same size, since its closer to your face than a TV. (unless of course, you sit really close to the TV, which makes my eyes hurt)

My TV doesn't even have surround sound. Its got the 2 built in speakers which are more than enough for me.

i agree with coupeS. Sony claims PSP is for hardcore gamers...but hardcore gamers dont play on lil screens...they play on huge TV screens. nintendo has big market with them younglins since they use it alot

PS: is a 1000 page views that hard seph :P

I wouldn't really want one. I mean I wouldn't if PSP makes good on their promises with the system.

Mobile entertainment at it's best as far as I'm concerned... That is of course again if they make good on what the capabilities are supposed to be .

Though I'm pretty sure they will. Sony from what I've seen, doesn't dissapoint very offten... if ever.

so that's a no
