I have been making a pack of skins and models for JK3 for the past few months. Several of the models are popular ones from JO. I have converted them in every aspect accept the saber glitch. I have no idea how to do it! Its been driving me crazy! I cant get it off of my mind, because I've asked and gotten answers, but none of them made any sence to me! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH! CAN ANYONE HELP ME!

You'll have to re-weight the models

What? I have no expirience with 3ds max. I have little idea how/what that is. I appriciate you posting though.

how can you know if that models have gone down in history?

Because of all the re-skins of them/uses in JA of them. Like the Exar Kun model I'm going to convert, there have been a bunch of re-skins of him, and the Darth Maul model, thats been used in JA a few times for mods and such. The point is I need to figure this out soon. Thanks for asking though:p

Ok, maybe your right. "Gone down in history" is a bit of an over statement. I guess a better way to put it would be "Popular models from JO".

and if you have no exp in 3dsmax, forget converting them to JA without the saber glitch

What's the saber glitch? Isn't supposed JO models to be JA compliant? Mike Gummelt said they fixed that using some code on the game. At least that's what the console says when you load a JO model in JA.

Lightninja, when you say "exp" do you mean exporter or experience? I have an xsi exporter for max 6 and all I need is the information on how to do it. I apriciate your concern though.

There are some tutorials at http://www3.sympatico.ca/psykopat/tutorials.htm - there's the JA skeleton there that you can use with the JK2 character importing tutorial (towards the end - weighting).
I'm think that the JK2 models don't have the correct left-hand tag or something.
