there is a similar one in mozilla, so you need to upgrade to the 1.0PR to avoid it...

That will probably occur after the following two conditions are met:

1.) Duke Nukem Forever is released
2.) Raven makes a Jedi Knight game that is worth the money in multiplayer.

/ducks out

He's saying they'll make a good os when those two things happen. Which'll likely be never.

Heh, it's interesting how we all whine about Windows (including me), yet nevertheless continue to use it for most of our computer tasks(instead of learning something like Linux).

Cos we have no choice. They own the market. They cunningly turned a blind eye to priacy long enough to let everyone get locked in... now we can't get out.

(and i'm too lazy to spend weeks learning and installing linux)...

Not this one... we've all spent the last few years telling our relatives it was safe to open picture attachments, as they couldn't have malicious code... oh well...

Wassup, I agree. Once I get brave enough I'm switching to Linux at least. Or at least once I get the time. I don't use IE I use Netscape for two reasons, 1). It's not Microsoft 2). I like it better.

you realize that if linux was the most widely used os that hackers would develope viruses for it. ;)

It wouldn't matter what the most commons used system was, what ever system it was it would have problems. The problem with Windows is that they concentrated on marketing for so many years instead of quality that they now have the corner market and we all fell into their little trap, clever Bill Gates who has been more of a marketing genius than a computer genius in my opinion. Now he has to catch up with the hype to keep that market and to keep the masses quite or else there will be a mass rebellion. He has it rather easy because most people are computer illiterate and computer lazy and have no desire to learn how to set up their own OS like dos or Linux, etc to run it on their machines, that is what he is banking on, computer complacency just like our politicians. Until a large enough group of people decide to get off of their lazy butts and do the computer work themselves and stop being spoon-fed by Microsoft we will all be ruled by the Microsoft dictatorship.

Nairb steps off of soap box and calms down and apologizes for that little tirade and hangs head because he knows he should practice what he preaches. (I will use and one more time, and.)

Thank you. ;)
