When I run the server with the /log option I see alot of error messages. The server starts but I cannot connect to it.

The errors in the logfile are;
C:\frontline_forked_pc\RedEngineFL\Graphics\PC\pcR edSegment.cpp(314) : [ERROR]pcShaderSegment: shader Normal [0xe68b9c52] doesn't support vertexformat [d222]!

C:\frontline_forked_pc\FrontLine\Source\LuaCallbac ks_Mission.cpp(193) : [ERROR]Lua ReadDataFile: Could not open sound\shell.lvl

C:\frontline_forked_pc\FrontLine\Source\LuaCallbac ks_Mission.cpp(193) : [ERROR]Lua ReadDataFile: Could not open sound\bes.lvl;bes1gcw

and so on....

Does anyone else have these problems?

i get the same errors, but my server seems to run fine.

I am not really sure if the log is really usefull or not.

by the way there is a semi usefull version of the log created if you use /logfinalscore

i think those errors are because the game is running as a dedicated server and not really using the vid card. i could be wrong.

I got rid of this problem after installing directx 9c on the windows server running the dedicated server. Strange that a dedicated server requires DirectX 9c???!!
