this is crazy, but i found information leading me to believe that Chewie had a high enough midichlorian count to be considered for jedi training...

You're making an aweful lot of threads at once with many small questions. My advice: If you have small questions to ask, just open up one thread and ask them all in that one thread. Makes it easier for people.

will do from now on, however, i thought some could spark large discussions, and multiples could get confusing, sry bout that

the thing is, there are wookiee jedi, Lowbacca anyone?, i always though chewie was more gifted than others, but i didn't know he had enough midichlorian to make jedi training possible.

can we see this information that you claim leads you to believe Chewbacca could be a jedi?

Lieutenant_kettch

im not saying chewie could be a jedi, but that he had a high enough midichlorian count that he would have been able to go through jedi training
his mc count: 7200
minimum: 7000, i will try and find wherei got that info tho

Is it not true, though that all Wookies need to have a raw ascension of the force to withstand hunting on the Kashykk (spelling?) floor?

Almost like the Haruunians of Haruun Kal, who are meant to be naturally atuned to the force to endure the harsh environment and became successful hunter gatherers. (Almost sounds primitive :D)

Lieutenant_kettch

that may be true, however, the wookiees may have plenty of force-attunement, but not enough to start training, it seems that chewie had an unusually high mc count

it is Kashyyyk if I am not mistaken

RC, where are u getting this crazy information. I doesn't sound like it came from a very reliable source. (The same as your Jhon Skywalker source?)

Born on Kashyyyk around 183 PE, Chewbacca (Chewie, for short) grew up without a great deal of human intervention. He excelled the various hand-to-hand combat skills a Wookiee is taught, and also gained a great deal of mechanical aptitude. At the age of 80 (WEG has him leaving at age 50, SCRE at 80), he left Kashyyyk to explore the stars. For 60 years (WEG says 140, SCRE says 60 years), he answered to no one but himself, until the Empire declared Wookiees a slave commodity. Chewie captured as a rogue Wookiee and imprisoned, where her heard about the Imperial mandate, and he spent the next 30 years doing hard labor in the Empire's slave camps. Note that this assumes the Empire existed for more than 30 years, which is debatable. Chewie was doomed to a short life when he was rescued by an Imperial Navy trainee named Han Solo. Chewie claimed a lifedebt to Han, and the two fled Imperial observation and began living underground as smugglers. Chewie's physical strength and mechanical abilities made him a formidable partner, and he and Han had many adventures during the 15 years prior to taking on Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker for passage to Alderaan. Chewie's actions in rescuing Princess Leia and helping Han Solo give Luke some breathing room during the Battle of Yavin earned him a commendation from the Alliance. His life-debt to Han Solo kept Chewie active. Following Han's need to repay Jabba the Hutt, he continued to help the Alliance, becoming a part of the ground assault team that disabled the shield generator on Endor's Sanctuary moon, allowing the Alliance to destroy the second Death Star. Following the formation of the New Republic and Han's resignation from the Republic, Chewie and Han continued to assist the Republic as pilots, and Chewie was forced to expand his hnor family to include Princess Leia following her marriage to Han Solo. Chewie's family continued to grow after the births of Jaina, Jacen, and Anakin Solo. Chewie became a guardian of Jacen and Jaina after their return from Anoth, but the siblings eluded him and got lost in the underground of Imperial City. Chewie and C-3PO managed to find them. On a vacation flight to Kessel with Han, Chewie and Han were shot down over the planet and forced to work in the spice mines. Their escape led them to the Maw Installation, and a group of Wookiee slaves still under Imperial domination. After convincing the Republic's leaders that they needed to establish an occupation of the Installation, Chewie also lobbied for the Republic to rescue the enslaved Wookiees. He was granted permission to accompany the occupation team and free the Wookiees. He was successful in rescuing the Wookiees, and helped get them out of the Installation before Daala destroyed it. Even though Han retired from active duty to spend time with his family, Chewbacca never left his side. His life-debt to Han had grown to encompass the entire Solo family. During the initial stages of Yuuzhan Vong invasion, Han, Anakin, and Chewbacca were on Sernpidal, helping Lando Calrissian with a shipment. They were on the planet when the Yuuzhan Vong used a dovin basal to draw the moon Dobido into an impact trajectory with Sernpidal, and were assisting with the evacuation effort when Anakin and Chewie were trapped on stony outcropping. Recognizing that Dobido was going to crash any second, Chewbacca flung Anakin onto the landing ramp of the Millennium Falcon, ensuring Anakin's survival. When Han realized Chewie didn't get onboard, he ordered Anakin to fly back while he searched for Chewie. Anakin, torn between his love for Chewie and the cargo hold full of refugees, was forced to retreat before the Falcon was destroyed. Chewbacca died on Sernpidal while giving the highest service to his life-debt. Han grieved for a long time before he could come to grips with the realization that Anakin hadn't killed Chewie, but that the Wookiee had saved them all. Chewbacca was portrayed by Peter Mayhew in all three Star Wars films.

yeah, it seems that if there were any reliable evidence that he was force sensitive, it would be all over the place. This thread makes me think RC just typed Chewbacca in a search engine, and found a personal web page by a person who wanted to make up a bunch of stuff to see who would believe it

you got this information from this...

it's made up, like the rest of supershadow's nonsense.

It says Average Jedi = 10,000

But Jacen and Jaina Solo only count upto 9,000 ?

Also Naga Sadow (Described as the DARK LORD of the Sith) is given 9,400

Also Kyle Katarn is somehow above Mace Windu, :O my life this guy spouts some bollocks.

I think this is where RC got his Ben Skywalker (Jhon) thing from.

where did he get all this nonsence??? how did he establish that ?

and putting the things like that its almost like dragon ball Z with all this enegry/power..... it takes away the mistery of the force

Uhh, yeah. That guy's crap. Ignore him; he's never ever cited any sources (not you, rc, that supershadow moron - the infamous one). Pretty much, your safest bet for corroborating info like that is to run it through the aforementioned Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia hosted by TheForce.net, which is about the only thing out there that can beat the nerds on these boards with their combined wisdom :p . No, seriously, it's better than Sansweets (not-ever updated) "real" Star Wars Encyclopedia...

i did not, in fact, get my info from supershadow, i have heard many things about them, and refuse to look at there info, i got this info from the same places i got my jhon information

I've been on LF for no more than a week, and I have seen in many threads people responding with something to the affect of: No, that is just one of supershadows lies, etc. Just check out a lot of the threads, and his name is sure to pop up.

A "Midichlorian count list" is completely false. Unless I see it from an official Star Wars source, I won't believe it.

Chewie may have had the count, but that doesn't mean he has control over the force. Remember, all living things has the force flowing through them.

And I have a feeling that list was ripped from SuperShadow's site. SuperShadow is a scammer who claims to be close to George Lucas or something like that and creates false facts about Star Wars.

Lieutenant_kettch
10-13-2004, 04:11 PM
i know about supershadow, and i never claimed he had control over the force

i did, however say, that his midi count was high enough that, if a jedi had wanted to, he could have been trained as a jedi, i am not saying it happened, not saying it might have happened, i am saying that the midi count was there if a jedi had wanted to train him*force lightning*

swphreak
10-13-2004, 05:22 PM
But the "midichlorian list count" isn't real. So therefor there is no proof that his midichlorian count is that high.

And no, Chewie would not have been able to learn "force lightning" because his supposed midichlorian count his "high enough."

coupes.
10-13-2004, 06:11 PM
Just for fun, even if I think this midichlorian count list is utter crap, I checked the link you provided and it's exactly the same list you can find on supershadow, which automatically discredits it :p

Shok_Tinoktin
10-13-2004, 06:26 PM
If you do a google search for "Jhon Skywalker", you will find tons of pages with the same list as supershadow (although non that have any credibility, isn't that a shocker!).

Lieutenant_kettch

i didn't even bother checking the list i found against supershadow... will do in the future tho
