Well, after trials and tribulations...and more trials it's here! My Longsaber Crystal Pack. Thanks so much for all of the help

It was definitely a battle, and although I 'still' didn't get to do what I wanted (found out it's impossible) THIS was Plan B...
I realize it's been done before (more or less) but I wanted an option to have any size saber available (I'm picky that way) ;)

I'm pleased with it so that's enough for me. I hope everyone else enjoys it. :D

Lucius Aqulia has also released a Long Saber Fix mod which prevents Malak using the same hilt you use during the final battle :D

Description of Mod:
=====================
This pack allows the player place a special color crystal in a (normal) lightsaber to make it into the longer, more menacing looking Malak's model. All colors are included in the pack as well as HotG and MotF crystals. Each crystal comes with their own custom icon to easily distinguish them from the standard ones!

STATS:
---------
For 'this' pack there are no 'additional' bonuses, HotG and MotF however retain their default extra stats behavior. These crystals can be used along with the standard upgrade crystals, as well as any normal length saber. DO NOT place these in a short saber (or a double-saber for those curious) you will LOSE the saber if you press the assemble button!

** IMPORTANT, this mod utilizes an "upcrystals.2da" file. If you are using another mod that uses this file, DO NOT overwrite it with this one included! Some editing of your existing "upcrystals.2da" will be involved. I've included a diagram that will show you what info has to be entered. Pictures are much easier to follow ;)

quick question, I'm assuming that the longer saber blade would also adjust the hilt to that of Malak's hilt?

I've learned that the game pretty much "replaces" your saber rather than just change the actual blade color. If I had made the saber hilt 80's neon color (heaven forbid), once you put my longsaber crystal in...well your normal saber would all of a sudden be monstrous long PLUS have a 'fashionable' new hilt color...

so to make a short answer long... yeah the hilts change as well

forgive the rambling ;)

I figure that seeing as the saber models can't be edited yet.... I think.
